“This Turbowheel Lightning Plus is a beast. The plush ride, the power all handles my large frame (220lbs) with ease. I’m almost too scared to even go up to level 2, so I’ll take it easy until I get real comfortable with this.”
“This thing looks like nothing else. Cool suspension and color scheme. Feels solid. The 3 selectable power modes, are nice. Mode one tops out at 15mph, within the CA legal speed limit for e-scooters in bike lanes. 2 took me up to 20 something and 3 thirty something. No matter what speed, it rides very smooth. The suspension absorbs all the little bumps extremely well. There is a massive world of difference in power delivery going from single wheel to dual wheel output. When both motors are engaged, the torque and off the line acceleration is jarring. The brakes (Nutt hydraulic) are fantastic. Only downsides, this is a heavy scooter not easily maneuvered without applying power. When using both motors in mode 3, expect much, much less range. The deck lights and brake lights are a nice touch.”
