“This scooter is a monster! I am a big man (270 lbs) so I needed a heavy-duty, serious scooter. The Lightning easily exceeds my expectations. It is so much fun to ride, and I can ride circles around my friends on inferior scooters. ;-)
The Lightning is really a great bang-for-the-buck value. I can go almost 40 MPH, which feels screaming fast. The suspension makes these speeds possible, even on grass or imperfect roads.
I have a couple tiny criticisms: Lightning doesn't handle very well, at very low speeds, due to its front-end geometry. Also, I had to adjust the rear brake rotor, as it wasn't installed flat.
Overall, build quality is solid, and Impressive. I'm really glad I got this scooter.”
“The scooter is beautiful. Why I say this is after putting it together.( just miner things) I started to ride it. The scooter has power and it turns people’s heads. It’s in a class by itself. So far I don’t regret buying it. I’ll keep you posted in a couple of months.”

“I’ve had my TWL for just about a year now. After about 600 miles it runs like it did right out of the box. I installed the off road tires and hydraulic brakes and it’s a beast on dirt trails. I also installed a graphite neck and graphite straight handle bars for aesthetics because stock was just as lightweight. I’m 200 pounds and zip this bad boy around New York City and the suspension handles pot holes like my SUV. You can literally run over a cat and not know it. The few issues I had with the standard disc brakes in the beginning was handled promptly and professionally by Jason.”
“It’s so insane how awesome this scooter is! I used to ride the Boosted REV to work every day and that does not even compare to how the TWL+ handles the road. Not only do I get to work a little bit faster, but I’m having fun riding it comfortably. I used to be scared to jumping of sidewalks, going over small pot holes with the REV but that’s not a problem with the TWL+. I had a few hiccups even though setup was pretty straightforward, but Jason was very helpful to me through email and even sent me a screw that I couldn’t find.”
