Best all around wheel packed with features in addition to best bang for your hard earned money. I really enjoy seated riding on this wheel. Really fast for a 16 inch wheel. Also Ewheels has top of the line costumer service.

Great wheel! This was my first wheel. I waited a year to write this review because I wanted to realy test it out... After I learned to ride it. The V-12 is agile and fast. It seems to be perfect for riding around town. I threw it in my back seat, drove my truck to the shop for a service, and rode the wheel home. I get lots of looks and comments since there are only a couple of wheels in town. The headlights are good but not great. I wish they would shine a little further forward at night. The tail lights are not good enough by themselves. I added lights to the back for nighttime. The motor is smooth and quiet. It feels well-balanced. It sat all winter (too much snow) with no maintenance. In spring, a quick check of tire pressure and battery charge and I was out on the road again. At 17pmh to 20 mph it can get 50-60 miles out of a charge, but I usually recharge at 40% so I'm not sure. My strength and energy run out before the battery, so I get 3 easy rides or 2 hard rides between charge cycles.

Wow, thanks for this thorough and detailed review! The V12 is a great 16" non-suspension wheel, not many of these left since everyone is follow the suspension trend. We can't always get what we want, but the V12 does tick most boxes. Make sure you're geared up, even when riding slow!

This is my first wheel and after years of electric bikes and high performance electric scooters, I am now an EUC convert. I love this wheel. It’s fast, forgiving and a ton of fun. It is heavy which means learning to support it against your plant leg might take a little longer and provide a few extra bruises but once you get on and start moving… wow! It took me about a week of daily 30 minute sessions to get it down and have enough confidence to ride it on the paths and trails. Now, I’m riding about 20 miles a day and loving every second of it. Only complaint, the stock pedals allow my feet to slide around even when I’m locked in with the pads. I’m getting the honeycomb pedals which I hope will help. The guys at ewheels, Jason and Eric are fantastic and so helpful. I appreciate their advice and support as I am getting stated. I will be using ewheels exclusively for all my EUC needs.

Wanted to purchase a spare charger for my v12, and Jason was super helpful in getting it to me asap. Very personable and great communication. I will always order my parts through eWheels!

I got into EUC’ing by learning the basics on a V5 and a V8. Last year I purchased an S18 from eWheels, and I ride it so much, I wanted to get another unit to split the time on. I almost got the RS, but I ended up getting the V12 as I really like Inmotion’s engineering and build quality. The IP rating is reassuring when you live in a place where unexpected light rain is always expected. I am very short so I pay close attention to physical dimensions. The V12 is smaller and more compact than I was envisioning it. It is also a tiny bit heavier than I anticipated. The unit was quirky at first and I had to take the first 15-20 miles very slow in order to get used to it. After that, we were best of friends. As the owner of an S18, I can tell you that the V12’s ride quality is excellent. It almost feels like there is a small suspension in there (tire press ~35 psi). The 16” wheel seems eager to go in any direction you want, a bit like a small sporty car like the MR2 or Miata. It certainly broadens the possibilities of advanced maneuvers but you must be mindful with it. It appears to have plenty of torque and power (I have HS) and I have yet (been up to about 27 mph thus far) to run into any “new wheel wobble”. Battery life seems great as now DarknessBot drains my phone with a lot left on the V12’s battery pack (you don’t really need it with the touchscreen anyway). I think one could almost get 100 miles out of it if they really had to and had the willpower ride about 15 mph. While doing my research, one of the worst rumors I heard about the V12 was concerning its lack of stopping power. While I personally wish they all stopped quicker, the V12 accelerates and decelerates better than the S18. In summary, the V12 is built like a tank and does everything well and looks good doing it! As always, eWheels was helpful and ultra-responsive. At one point, I got paranoid about the tracking info of the delivery company and received a email response from Eric at 3:00 am EST. They are always on top of things and I will never get a wheel from anywhere else.

Love this wheel and I must have got a really good one cause I’m getting 80miles of range going 16 mph @220lbs. I’m not big on speed just wanted something with better range and this is it! I would recommend this wheel as an upgrade. I bought my other wheels from other sources and the products were in stock took over month to receive and it was a USA warehouse. When I ordered this from ewheels it shipped same day and I received it in 5 days which is awesome because I live in Florida. Thank you Ewheels for being 100% awesome you will always have my business!
