“Internally broke in >50 miles. EWheels customer support sucks. Only can reach them by phone. Didn’t really help but confirmed to me that I was allowed to open the wheel and try to fix it, so I did. After tightening all the loose bolts inside (a lot of them and REALLY loose bolts connecting frame to motor mounts as well as pedal mounting bolts (and I used more threadlocker), the issue was gone for ~50 more miles. Now same issue but worse, again loose bolts, but even with tightening them, issue is still there.
The issue is a “looseness” where if you hold the wheel and go forward, there is a little play before it catches, and the same when you reverse direction. It’s bad.
Again it’s hard to communicate to eWheels, I have been in confirmed contact via phone and email, but they have not given me any support beyond answering the phone (but not the emails) and has not answered any of my questions.

“The customer service was personable and outstanding whether it be questions or issues related product delivery, function, troubleshooting, or working with the EUC manufacturer. I will be recommending eWheels to others.”
“My first euc. Took about 45 minutes beside homerun fence at baseball field until I was brave enough to head off across field. Made it 6 miles first day and my valve stem got damaged, maybe my fault with slightly too low air pressure. Ewheels sent 2 tubes several days later, changed tube myself with Walmart bike spoon tools, rode it close to 15 miles this evening in grass on disc golf course with tighter tires, more difficult but by end was smooth sailing, got up to about 30km, but didn't want to push it. Love this little machine. Thanks Ewheels!”
