Veteran Lynx, 2,700Wh Battery/3,200W Motor (8KW Peak) 66lb / Street [TNT] Reviews

4.9 Rating 34 Reviews
Admittedly very new to EUC, but was doing research and seeing how far the technology has come in the last few years I felt I had to go big out of the gates. I was seeing the initial hype of the Lynx and then the minor hiccups that were probably solved via some firmware updates, but I have a later batch. Anyway inital impressions of the Lynx seems to be built very well, looks cool, and to me as a new rider just learning is being suprisingly easy to learn on. I got it to commute to my job and to have fun. I got some experience to gain on it but even early stages you get the feeling of how insanely awesome riding an EUC is and so far the Lynx to me is like getting a car I can rely on for years to come just going by how well its built. Relating it to a car is probably not the right thing to use because this is such a cool experience already. There is nothing like it and I have barely tapped the cool parts. I am obviously biased with the Lynx, but Id recommend it to anyone. It's expensive, but I already find myself looking at other new wheels just coming out I will hopefully be able to save money for, but the Lynx will tide me over for a plenty long while. I got it so I didn't feel like I needed something more. So far definitely no worries there. I will try to update this as I become a more avid rider. I live in an area I have never seen an EUC so Im hoping to bring some more interest to it. Maybe a coworker etc. To everybody else in the EUC world that posts cool content and reviews, thanks for getting me interested, because besides really liking my new Lynx and probably being spoiled rotten being able to get it (I work hard, dont worry), I am super happy to finally be in this world thanks to ewheels.

Hi there, welcome to the world of EUC riding! We certainly have come a long way since the early days of EUC in regards to build quality and performance, and the Lynx exemplifies this perfectly. Best of luck on your learning journey, stay safe and enjoy the ride!

Fantastic customer service and deserving of the title of #1 distributor. EWheels does so many great things for the EUC community. They push manufacturers to improve products. They help design cosmetic and ergonomic add-ons and often ship them free with new wheels. They go above and beyond for customer experience. They've walked me through repairs and sourced hard-to-find parts. One time I placed an two orders within days of each other and they noticed that their combined value qualified for free shipping and refunded my shipping without me saying anything. I can't recommend EWheels highly enough.

I purchased a Veteran Lynx. I love my purchase. I ordered from batch 4 which was due to be available at the end of March. I wasn't expecting delivery until at least the first week of April. To my excitement it arrived the 27th of March! I contacted customer service a couple days before delivery to find out which tracking number was assigned to the wheel, I had multiple orders, to my surprise, someone actually answered the phone less than 3 minutes of the call!! Almost no customer service centers answer the phone these days. This was my first experience with EWheels and it definitely won't be the last. You don't get customer service service like this anymore. Thanks again!

I received my lynx in a best condition. it's my first. it took me 3 days ( 2 hours each day) to start riding it, I loved it, I feel like a little baby, who got his eyes opened to a new hobby.

The Veteran Lynx is an absolute unit. All muscle and no fat thanks to the judicious use of magnesium alloy. Is it a great wheel? Short answer is yes. Great fit and finish. Power in spades. The suspension is fantastic - no rattling or clunking noises when dropping off a curb and just so smooth that it feels like a spa day compared to riding other wheels. Great safety features - Hall sensor failure mitigation, Smart BMS, 50s batteries. This thing is destined to sell well so I'm assuming there's going to have a lot of nice aftermarket stuff for it. The cons are relatively minor: I don't like using the interface on the wheel to customize the settings - navigating through the menu is a chore. You have to buy an aftermarket part to lower the pedal height. The pedals, even with spikes, are still rather slippery Bluetooth connection ain't great - I'll get multiple disconnect/reconnects from EUC world app during my rides The wheel is rather wide and less comfortable to stand on compared to slimmer wheels like the V11. There's no getting around the fact that this wheel is 88lbs- which is almost considered light these days as EUCs go. I couldn't imagine a heavier wheel such as the ET Max for day to day use. All in all, happy with the purchase. My 10th EUC and sixth one purchased from eWheels.

This is a great wheel, the power is great, the smoothness of the ride is incredible, its almost the perfect wheel, but... I had to remove a whole star because of the trolly handle.... This is a very well-built wheel, and very expensive... For the price, they seem to have forgotten about the trolly handle, it is made of cheap plastic, and sometimes the button sticks down, and it keeps popping up, as this is a brand new wheel, I foresee issues with this handle, so I will use it as little as possible, it feels like it could break at any time. Now that is not a deal breaker for me, but it is something I am sure is going to get a lot of guff about... So perhaps making a more solid design with that too... But I have 4 categories for all my reviews, and look for the video review coming soon. 1. Style - The look of the wheel is nice, like a tank... but with the pads and some after-market stuff, it looks good... 3.5 out of 5 2. Performance ... This thing is a beast, with incredible power, and even though it's a larger tire and is a bit heavy, you don't notice it, very smooth, I would teach someone on this thing, but I have to drop a star because at high speeds over 45, it has a little stability problem, a small wobble comes on, you can carve out of it, but it may be something they might want to look into ... giving it ... 4. out of 5 3. Value ... Well as you know it's pretty much the most expensive wheel on the market, but the question is.... Is it worth that price???? I am going to have to get back to you on that one.... I am going to do a full in-depth review of this wheel, but only after I have had it for at least a week and over 100 miles. 4. OVERALL - I am loving it now.... I will do a 6 month review for a change but for now - 4 out of 5 Look for a full video review coming soon.

The Lynx is a magical machine. Seeming infinite torque and the build quality is excellent -- as expected with Leaperkim wheels. I've put around 500 miles on it so far and it still impresses me every time I get on it.

We totally agree, the Lynx is definitely the wheel to beat! All batches have been selling out, we're not sure if a new release will be able to topple the wheel of 2024. There are always going to be minor issues with each release, but LK is handling their machines with great poise. Always ride with gear, be safe out there!
