I do wish the industry would give us "smart" chargers that have a 50%,80%, and 100% State of Charge setting. 50-80% is the ideal storage charge when you don't plan on using. Leaving a battery at full charge eventually leads to a slow build up of dendrites which degrade a battery over time. Lets be honest, most trips can be done on 50-80% SOC. Going from 600ish full charge cycles vs 2000ish smaller charges could make a difference in battery longevity.

I love my new Wheel still learning it but I love it it looks great and I get strange looks where I go and people who are into riding these always ask can they ride it my heart drops every time somebody wants to ride because I don’t know whether or not if they’re going to crash it

A truly amazing wheel for advanced riders. On-road, off-road, trails, track, perfect blend of agility and stability, extremely powerful, as fast as I would ever want to go on one wheel. This is my 15th wheel since I've started riding, and it's literally the best I've ever riden.

An exceptional product. The type of wheel I may never grow out of. The build quality is amazing and there is a lot of potential for the lynx to be customized to each person's liking.

I apreciate all that the ewheels team has done. I admittedly was a pain in the ass customer and they whent beyond what was required. For dropping a large amount of doe I think the ewheels team understands that we are gonna be picky. I purchased a lynx. There where some details I havent come across new tech such as hydraulic suspension. I have heard others where concerned as well. Ewheels team was quick and knowledgable concerning our concerns. I had air suspension before and hydraulic has a watery sound to it that is a bit alarming at first. Im glad ewheels has worked on tubeless street tire. Many euc enthusiasts are offroaders. For me Im a street rider for speed. I might be in a small group of purchasers and I am glad the ewheels team informs me of all the newests mods such as lowering kits tubeless what tires...etc. The lynx looks extremely well designed has a great look and the street tire for me seems way more responsive. I bet other wheels could out perform this one but overall the lynx has more in the offering department. Its been really rainy lately and if the lynx will let me ride while others get left behind, who needs to go 60mph in the rain anyway. Ewheels has a great selection many preorder options, while they are not the cheapest online I am confident on throwing down thousands of dollars and if something goes wrong ewheels will act with honor. Ewheels has the more afordable pedal lowering kits for the lynx. I happened to buy elsewhere for much more due to fear of out of stalk. If you are looking on these kits now I would recommend giving ewheels a try. In the pictures the products look very similar and most people are on a budget. I also apreciate the many options there are for financing. I hope ewheels is here to stay.

This wheel is a beast. Take time to adjust if you are coming from a smaller wheel. I don't recommend it for beginners but for everyone else this is a powerful and stable wheel with a great suspension system and about 80 miles of range. The street tire is the way to go.

Great to see this review come through! We usually don't recommend these larger and heavier suspension wheels to beginners, but it's not totally impossible to use as a new rider. If riding conservatively, you should be able to attain 80 miles. If riding as normal with some speed runs, you should actually be getting closer to 40 miles.

Top notch quality. Not top heavy. Stable. I went over 40mph with no issues. Range- Im 180lb, I got 54 miles riding 25 to 35 mph nonstop, and still had 2 bars left. PWM set to 80%, and never got a beep, or tiltback. Cons- Hard for me to accelerate seated. Takes alot of effort to maintain speed seated (one day of riding, so I may get used to it). Mudgaurd rattles alot. Battery charger is Loud with a high pitch whine, and when battery is mostly full, the charger goes from red to green over and over, as the last point of battery voltage maxes out. I just unplugged it. I assume it will stay green eventually, but turning on and off like that can't be good. Other than the small gripes, I love the wheel!

Thanks for this glowing review! The Lynx is one of the most hyped wheels on the market. Seated riding is going to feel differently. It might be a good thing that it's harder to accelerate seated, have to stay safe out there. What you're describing for the charger is totally normal when the cells are balancing. The Veteran controller sends momentary interrupts to the charger, no need to worry there.
