“This is a fantastic wheel. Very long range, super fast and a very stable ride. A total workhorse that I use daily for my commute to work and for long-distance pleasure rides.”
“After 140 miles, this thing is AWESOME!!! It is my first wheel, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. All-around great. Great to learn on. I will be riding this wheel for a long time.”
“After 100 miles of learning to ride I'm happy with my decision not to get a cheaper, slower wheel. The Sherman is heavy, which makes learning more strenuous, but I'm already hitting my 24mph speed alarm and at speed the weight is an asset, as is the ability to go fast without being close to the wheel's limits. It would be nice if it had a stand, but I also appreciate the simplicity. The pads that came with it are fine, but I'm going to need something thicker for my bow legs. I've dropped it several times and nothing has broken (I did put some pads around the lights.”
“I got my Sherman Max 8-9 months ago from Ewheels. I use it daily for food delivery in NYC (roughly 40 miles per day). I have over 6K miles on it so far. I've used it in all kind of elements. For what it is, this wheel deserves nothing else but 5 stars. I've beat the hell out of mine with multiple crashes that come with my job's territory unfortunately. The weak points of this wheel is the trolley handle and rails, which break incredibly easy and I've had to replace mine 4xs already since I've had it. The shell is cheap plastic that you'll need to replace eventually if you use it as long as I have (I haven't replaced mine yet because I'm cheap so I have parts of it taped up with duct tape). But, really, those are the only cons I can think of. For what I've done to this wheel and the multiple times I've actually seen this wheel do somersaults and get right back up and dust itself off is amazing. The roll bars on it are CLUTCH and saved this EUC on many occasions. I've had one cut out on this wheel because the buttons on top ARE NOT WATERPROOF AND ALLOW WATER TO GO INSIDE THE DISPLAY BOARD WHICH CAUSED MY WHEEL TO CUT OUT, so I advise you do not ride this wheel in the rain, and if you do you need to buy a plastic cover to cover the buttons on top or tape it or something because it will cut out if enough water enters through the buttons on top, but it took 3 hours of a consistent downpour for it to happen to mine. This wheel is strong, strong strong. I haven't had this wheel run out of battery ONCE since I've used it, and I've done 12 hour shifts before with it. The knobby kenda tire has a sharp dip when you do sharp turns when the tire is new, but overtime this no longer happens and the wheel is incredible stable while riding. I had the red indicator blinking lights go out for no reason a couple months ago but the main headlight is still strong. Given all the negative things I've said about this wheel, I absolutely love this wheel. It is a beast and I can promise you that you will not be disappointed in purchasing it. For what I put it through, this wheel deserves a medal. Also, Ewheels has done a good job with keeping their reputation good, and they always give me a refunded amount for shipping as a return customer, which I really appreciate. Shipping for the monthly rail replacements (lol) are like 1-2 days from the west coast to NYC, so kudos for that!”
“Just got the wheel yesterday and I’m already getting the hang of the new wheel. So much more power than my 18 XL and I’m looking forward to the extra to range! The wheel is very stable and I feel very safe on it even going 30 miles per hour. Definitely a recommended buy. Looking forward to many years of fun and commuting”
“1st EUC purchase ever.
The Max riding is slowly coming along...i've maxed out at about 15mph due to tire wobble.
Not sure if this is a tire/rim wheel balance issue or axle mechanical issue??? Getting in touch with Ewheels to rectify/get troubleshooting information.
Is wobble on the Max a commonality?”
“I’ve had it up to 39.8 mph and it feels very steady ! This is only 5 days in from a 16x for 3 years lol . It’s almost 40 lbs heavier so I’m really getting used to the acceleration. I ride seated only and I use a seat for the Sur ron . Soft mode is cool , so far so gud !”
