“The wait is over and I’m not disappointed. Ready out the box. Very well made, Solid piece of equipment. You do have to lean pretty hard to get it going but when it gets going”
“It's a solid beast. Super fast and powerful and so easy to ride. This is the best wheel by far for a heavier person. It has such a low center of gravity it makes it so much easier to control than other wheels. Other wheels are like toys compared to this.”
“If you are reading this review on the Veteran Sherman, than you are aware of a few things:
1) The specifications of the Wheel.
2) It isn't a toy and she is heavy.
3) She is, as of the writing of this review, the best Wheel in it's class available on the consumer market IMHO.
4) That you came to the right place to work with professionals in the USA in order to obtain a Veteran Sherman.
I'm unsure of when you are reading this, but I would just advocate that this beautiful piece of machinery (and any other EUC capable of speeds comparable to the Sherman) be treated with the same reverence as a firearm. The moment you become overly familiar and don't treat this Wheel with respect you potentially may easily harm yourself or others.
Please ride safely and responsibly on any EUC. Trust advice given by Drew, Jason, William, Marty, etc. and others in the EUC family to corroborate if desired. See you down the road...”
“My first wheel, heavy at first but very happy of my choice, in 2 day I handle it and I a have a lot of room before reach the maximum of the sherman to evolve my skills.”
“Very impressive wheel, coming from riding the KS 18XL and GW MSP(s). In my experience it is a smooth stable wheel, and it's weight really plants it on the ground. I only really feel the full 80 lb weight when picking up the wheel, or going off a curb or larger drop. Going off a curb can come as a surprise, because it is easy to forget how heavy this wheel is while riding. The off-road tire works well on all surfaces. The screen is nice - as is the roll bar and lights. My biggest critique would be the lack of clearance by the roll bar in the front bottom area, that does not help confidence approaching (up) curbs or other obstacle. I would say the Sherman Veteran is best on road, but that road can be paved or gravel. With its weight, low pedals, lack of clearance in the front, and a motor aimed toward upper end speed - this is more of a cruising Escalade and less an off road Jeep. Fine with me! Sherman Veteran is a lot of fun, and it's huge range makes for great days on the wheel.”
“I’m a big guy, so being my first wheel, had to go with something that could be powerful enough and have the range. Couldn’t be happier! It’s not easy to learn to ride, but the challenge, to me at least, is worth it. Coming from a OneWheel, the sheer power and torque is immediately evident. Glad I made this choice and thanks to eWheels for helping me! Aloha from Hawaii”
