If you are on sitting on the fence thinking and pondering if you should be buying the Veteran Sherman, or not; dont ponder anymore! The Sherman is a beast, it is heavy but the roll cage makes lifting it easier than i had imagined. My Sherman came from a shipment that had a fire and although my box smelled and my wheel had a slight smell, it went away after a week and everything is in working order. My unit came fully charged, and it feels very stable and great to ride compared to all the other wheels I own (Rs19, ks16x, ks16s). I do not recommend the ewheels branded seat for riding, since there is not much room on the seat, but i recommend the zoomwheels brian seat instead for a great seated riding experience. I recommend the mudguard from ewheels, it looks great, good build quality. The power pads included are great since the design is molded to the design of the wheel, but some riders may want wider and more space in between the pads contact points. Beware, do not use waterproof flex tape on the display , if you mess up you risk peeling off the plastic of the screen when taking off the flex tape. Hold off until the waterproof lcd screen is available.

Coming from my V11 I expected a significant drop in comfort, but I was shocked at how smoothly the Sherman negotiated rough pavement. The V11 is the clear winner in comfort, but the Sherman is not far behind. I don't know whether it's the chunky off road tire or sheer mass of the wheel, but the Sherman handles bumps and potholes better than any other non-suspension wheel I've tried. And that's the only real edge the V11 has. The Sherman's power and range is incredible, and I enjoy the Sherman's ride dynamics the more I ride it. It cruises effortlessly and is a pleasure to take through wide turns. The off road tire is stable and has very predictable turning behavior that makes it an awesome cruiser. It is noisy on the road, but that's only in comparison to a street tire--past 30mph the wind noise drowns it out anyways. The headlights are a more mixed bag compared to the V11--the sherman has more throw, but I wish it was a little more floody. The major win here is being able to adjust the headlight angle independent of the pedals--taking a turn in the V11 has the headlights pointed at the floor, but with the Sherman I can adjust the headlights up a couple degrees so it still gives me decent visibility Pedal dip in turns is very much a thing even on my recent batch. Not to the point I've scraped the pedals, but it can be clearly felt. Took a little time to trust there was enough clearance, so at this point I file it under as a quirk more than a negative. Amenities on both are good. Trolley on both the Sherman and V11 are excellent, no complaints. The Sherman lacks the V11's spin kill button, but realistically 77lbs is not comfortable to pick up one handed. The 59lb V11 is already pushing the limit of what I'd be willing to carry. If I had to drag the Sherman up and down flights of stairs that'd be a concern but I rarely do. The Sherman is top class in ride experience where it counts, enough that I'm willing to overlook its minor faults. If i'm going on a shorter relaxed trip I'll grab the V11, but when I'm riding for fun the Sherman is the top choice.

Best EUC out there! Have 2.2k miles on mine, no issues - equipped with clark pads and fish pedals. eWheels sending me new firmware chip to try out, will also review that if interested, it's supposed to fix the 'pedal dip issues', which I consider pedal assist and don't want to get rid of, but we'll see. Bought the pedal lifts off ebay as well which raise the pedals 1cm, think that's the right amount of lift, but we'll see. The new Shermans are already raised and installed with new firmware chip, so if you're thinking about buying one, ignore any review that mentions pedal dip or low pedals as that has been fixed. Here is a yt video of me riding Sherman: https://youtu.be/Yrl5aJx_Tkg Review also on my youtube channel. Looking forward to seeing what this companies innovates in the future. Appreciate eWheels for taking a change with a new EUC company, and bringing us EUC enlightenment.

The Sherman is the most solid wheel I have ever purchased. I can hit 35mph without even realizing it. This is a true all around EUC for my needs. Im sure I will have plenty long and amazing rides ahead of me.

Sherman is a no brainer for range and comfort. Has been riding great through the pothole filled streets of NYC. Don't bother wasting your time on group rides charging up. eWheels got your back for any manufacturer's defects.
