VSETT 10+ 1,536/1680Wh Battery, 2x 1,400W 25.6Ah/60V 1,536Wh Reviews

4.7 Rating 22 Reviews
Let me start off by saying that the overall quality of the VSETT 10+ is certainly a 5 out of 5. But I'm rating this review a 3 out of 5 mainly for the experience of how the scooter was received and it's condition. My significant other went above and beyond to get me this scooter as a gift since it was time to replace my Turbowheel Lightning+. So I'm familiar with this style of scooter. Having more of an athletic build and weight around 238lbs, I needed something with more power for daily commutes and to handle the amount of hills I encounter on a day to day basis. The VSETT 10+ tackles everything effortlessly. On flats and up hills, the scooter accelerates impressively quickly despite how much load it's carrying. The suspension is also top notch and insanely comfortable. But my favorite part about the scooter is the stem locking latch. Anyone that has had the older style knows how much better this locking mechanism actually is. No wobble in the stem and no adjusting/retightening of the stem clap weekly like on previous generations. For the money, this is hands down one of the best all around scooters you can buy. To top it off, I added a steering stabilizer that was included in the scooter purchase and now can finally ride with confidence at top speeds. I can never say that about riding my Turbowheel Lighting+ because it didn't have a steering stabilizer and I had to completely lock my upper body while riding in fear of crashing horribly. No longer worried about that. Unfortunately, I received my scooter a missing bolt that is used to clamp the speedometer to the bars, a crack in the deck plastic and brakes that had 0% stopping power on the rear / 20% stopping power on the front. Now, eWheels customer support was able to send me new parts for the screw and cracked deck. They were good about sending those out quickly. Despite external issues I had with FedEx that was complete out of everyones control and delayed the fixes a few weeks. But most importantly you can tell that Zero quality control check was preformed this scooter. When you're purchasing a scooter that cost $2,000, having the 3 issues I experienced is kind of a slap in the face. Yes, the company sent me replacement parts, as they should have and responded back to me very quickly. Which I greatly appreciate. I did have to go purchase a brake bleed kit out of pocket to get the air bubbles out of the lines. Which finally made the scooter rideable. I just hope that eWheels takes this review to heart and makes a point to improve their quality control inspection before shipping scooters out to customers. These scooters are too expensive to receive one in the condition like the one we were sent. I would certainly order from eWheels again in hopes this was a one-off experience.

Thanks for submitting this review, your experience is definitely unique and generally doesn't happen with our products. We always QC everything before shipping out from the manufacturer, even going so far as to hiring an independent third party to further QC on our behalf. This was an unfortunate series of events, but we did our best to be prompt and communicative. We shipped all necessary parts that we had in stock, glad they were well received. We're happy that you're enjoying the Vsett 10+ and we'll take this review to heart. We'll do what we can to make sure products are good to go before they're shipped, but it's always possible for something to slip through the cracks...

In 2019 I bought the lightning plus and never had any problem. Just as the battery hade gone weaker after more than 4000+ km I called them again to buy the upgraded version and the ewheel team suggested me the Vsett +. I thought that was hard to get better but I am really surprised at the quality, speed and range pf the Vsett+. In one word :fantastic! I wouldn’t buy nowhere else a scooter; ewheel team is just great in answering and giving you best advise and support when needed, making it easy to buy and answering almost immediately.

This scooter is phenomenal and you won't regret it. For those buyer, please make sure that all screws / parts are tight as it comes a little loose due to customer preference. But overall, what makes this product awesome is the seller/customer service (Eric Cheng, Jason and William) are there to support or guide the user for any troubleshooting. Shipping is fast and quality product.

This scooter is built like a tank. It goes fast and is very stable. I had to adjust a few of the p settings to slow the power down until I get used to it.

Very underwhelming scooter. Does not get anywhere near the claimed range. I got only around 30 miles range on a charge. For reference, I'm 140 pounds and live in a flat area. In my initial tests, I kept the scooter in gear 1 and used the lowest power settings possible. I did this experiment a few times to make sure something wasn't wrong. What a joke. I wish I could get a full refund on this thing.

Man... this thing is a monster. I am at the tippy top of the weight limit and it doesn't even break a sweat. I've been on rides that are quite long (10+ miles) and it barely moved the dial on the voltage indicator. Granted, I was taking it easy (17 mph tops, torque set to low). This scooter has TONS of power! No joke, it is insane. Keeping up with traffic on a scooter is quite the thrill. This scooter is super stable at speeds under 25 without a steering damper but you had better install one if you plan on going any faster. That is just a limitation of having a scooter go that fast. When you are going slower, it is VERY stable.

2+ years after purchase: I honestly can't speak highly enough about this company. Being from Canada and having to deal with customs and shipping delays etc, I've never had an issue. I've had a few issues with my scooter(manufacturer defects), and they rushed (and even insisted) on resolving the trouble immediately! I have over 1,000kms on my Lightning+ and it's treated me gloriously! The customer service they provided before I even bought the scooter was unmatched, and the customer service they continue to provide after I've bought the scooter is equally epic! They continue to amaze me and I recommend everyone to their website.

This is the commuter scooter that has granted me 100% freedom (except on rainy day, dang water) to travel to work and get home in a timely manner. I've had this scooter for about a month now with the sole purpose of getting to my job and back to my apartment. It has never once failed at doing its job so far. feeling the wind and not worrying about gas for travel has been a blessing. Now I'm fully decked up in a motorcycle jacket, pants, and helmet to guarantee my safety in case the worst happens due to the speed a usually ride at. Now besides commuting, this is also a great recreation ride scooter if you have plenty of road to just go loose or take a mellow ride around. If you want a good mid-range, right amount of speed, and decent carry weight scooter. This is the one in my humble opinion.
