VSETT 10+ 1,536/1680Wh Battery, 2x 1,400W 25.6Ah/60V 1,536Wh Reviews

This thing is a beast. I'm 280lb and this thing has no problem propelling me to 47mph. I try to ride mostly in single motor mode on the way to work but that only works till the first stop light. Hit dual motor and sport mode, I leave cars standing at the green light asking me "What is that thing?!" everytime. Excellent support, quick to answer emails and help.

There are 2 important things that can make a customer happy when buying something expensive like this scooter. Scooter itself and Service. Talking about the scooter there are Pros and Cons, lets talk about the Pros: 1. Excellent build quality, scooter feels ultra beefier in every aspect when compared to Zero 10x (Turbowheel Lightning, Apollo Pro etc..). The moment you step on the scooter, it instills confidence in you by the way it feels. Source (This is my 5th Scooter, I had Zero 10x before this and also Es2, Inkoim Light 2, Wide Wheel Pro) 2. Powerful motors compared to Zero 10x and also bigger battery. 3. Comes with Nutt brakes out of the box which has better feel when compared to the Zoom braking that was found on the Zero 10x. 4. Comes with Integrated Turn Signals and I can't express show I feel with it. 5. Suspension is of better quality when compared to Zero 10x Cons: 1. Not much, but you have to tighten every screw once and also apply Loctite Blue temporary thread sealer to make sure screws don't fall off after a couple of miles riding. (This is a common issue you will find with any scooter in the market, even the most expensive ones) 2. IP54 rating provided by factory is not up to the standard, so refrain from riding in rain as you may damage the motors/controller/battery. 3. In my case the rotor discs came out little bent (totally possible during transit), so you have to use a Bike Disc truing tool and bend the discs back to shape, if you are handy enough suggest replacing the discs with some brand that you may like. Overall, out of the box this scooter feels way better and sturdier than most of the scooters in the market. Clearly the factory took failures happened in Zero 10x into consideration while manufacturing this, so they won't happen. The scooter came out really well packed in the box, and also you will find an inspection certificate by Ewheels along with the scooter. Out of the box the scooter has around 40ish% charge, you need to charge the scooter to 100% and it may take around 8 hours to full charge with the default charger provided. You can also purchase a Fast charger from ehweels which is the best in the market and can also extend the battery cycles by 3x (You can limit the charge % and also the speed at which it charges the battery). Before the inaugural ride: Check if all screws are tight and ready the manual provided by ewheels on how to lock the stem mechanism and folding handle bar screws. Strat with Single motor mode to get a feel of the scooter before switcing to dual motor mode, honestly dual motor mode scared me at first because of the way this scooter speeds up, it is damn fast. You may need to hold the handlebars tight :) Lastly Service: I don't have words on how well I was impressed with the responses provided by the ewheels team, they answered me all the questions with patience pretty clearly in multiple email exchanges. They even went out of their way and provided an advisory on what screws to tighten and how much to tighten/loosen it. I would give their service an A++. In simple, very well communicative, knowledgeable and helpful team. I definitely recommend everyone buying from this retailer and I look forward to buying all my future scooters from this retailer just for the service they provided.

Coming from a Xiaomi M365 and Boosted Rev, I decided to finally upgrade to the big, high-powered electric scooter. Much research was done to fit my criteria, and I've ultimately decided on the Vsett 10+ (25.6Ah) version. Overall, it's an extremely massive upgrade! From performance, to ride quality, to range, to safety (the front and rear turn signals are great!), this scooter definitely exceeded my expectations even in a only a few miles ridden (I live in a super hilly area part of Seattle). The suspension is amazing--coming from no suspension line of scooters, I don't think I could ever go back to suspension-less ones! Braking power is astonishing as well with the dual-hydraulic Nutt disc brakes, especially coming from mechanical disc brake! Another thing that really wowed me is the stem locking mechanism. This scooter has one-of-a-kind, super secure, stem locking feature and it reduces anxiety for stem wobbles! Overall, highly recommend this electric scooter if you're looking for an upgrade or if it's your first!

Beauty and the Beast – Vsett, the tale of two scooters. At first sight, the Vsett 10+ is a thing of beauty – a high-tech, elegant design, eye-catching color scheme and class-leading folding stem and handlebar. When power delivery, electronic braking and speed level are adjusted to their mildest settings the Vsett delivers a ride that is quiet, tightly controlled and silky smooth – in single motor mode. Until, you hit the DDL button to engage dual motor mode. Then the Vsett transforms into the Beast – wild, raw power demanding the steady hand of a skilled rider to do it’s bidding and bring out the very best of a thoroughbred. Getting the most out of the Vsett requires attention to detail in unboxing, inspection and setup. To level set, most imported scooters are the result of trade-offs in quality, performance and price. Quality can vary from superb with products of robotic manufacture, to poor with manual assembly and packaging of those products. The Vsett is on the high side of this spectrum, but not without a few non-critical flaws. eWheels was quick and helpful in answering my many questions about the Vsett. This and their excellent rep for service was why I bought my scooter from them. My order was processed and shipped within 24 hours of payment. My shipment, however, was held by FedEx in Phoenix for three days and they would not offer any reason why. My order arrived three days later – a total of 6 days in transit that should have been three. The box arrived in good condition with no evidence of mishandling. It was clear it had been opened and resealed – part of eWheels’ pre-ship inspection, verified by an inspection “Checklist” enclosed in the box. The Vsett was well cradled in 5 Styrofoam cubes. Post unboxing inspection showed only one minor shipping casualty – bent disc rotors. This is normal. Rotors are designed to deform and continue to function when they meet road hazards like rocks, branches and even shipping. The fix posted at ESG’s YouTube site https://youtu.be/ZchQVZH8kA4 made short work of straightening a 3mm bend in rear rotor and 1 mm in the front. The battery was topped off with a slow 1 A charge using the eWheels recommended Rapid Charger – a $150 investment that promises a 3X extension to battery life (a $1k replacement after 500 charge cycles). A spin test of both wheels showed a nasty wobble in the rear tire. Pressuring the tires to 50psi blew the rear tire with an audible pop, failing to hold pressure afterward. I massaged the tire around its perimeter using a wood clamp to release any pinched tube areas, dosed the tube with a shot of Blue ArmourDilloZ, partially filled it, more massage and finally filled it to successfully hold 50 psi. And, the wobble went away. Brake levers, display unit and switch modules were all easily adjusted for straight arm use. All exposed fasteners were tightened to appropriate torque, with the exception of 8 miniature screws that attach the 4 deck-side covers. Two holes were cross threaded – an easy fix with new screws and a M3 tap. On my first ride, folding stem and handlebars were rock solid – without the flex and creaking that plagued prior generations of scooters. I was impressed with the taught steering and the silent, supple well-behaved suspension when riding over sidewalk partitions, road cracks and speed bumps. No wobble or drifting when going 30mph for 10 minutes on asphalt bicycle lanes – tree root bumps and all. The Vsett’s new sine-wave controller nearly eliminates motor hum in power delivered to the hub’s phase-magnet offset. Power was gradual and well regulated by the throttle trigger. 15% hill climbs were possible in single motor mode when P12 motor strength is set to 5. Nutt brakes were silent, easy to regulate, smooth & strong. All of this changed when I hit the DDM button to engage both motors on hill climbs greater than 15% (P12 dialed back to 1). When the front wheel hit a patch of gravel it broke loose and I had to lean hard on the handlebars to maintain control. The stock street tires are just too smooth to safely tackle steep hills on anything but clean pavement. eWheels offers a hybrid on/off road that remedies this. Using these tires on a comparably powered Evolve Pro R, I was way more confident in navigating mixed paved/gravel roads. My Vsett tipped the scales at 80.2 lbs. – about 2 more than the Evolve. Loading/unloading the Vsett into the waist-high back of my SUV was much easier than expected thanks to folding stem & handlebar and grab handle over the rear tire – just be careful of bending the rotors. I did not put on enough miles for either a range or speed test. However my 20 mile test ride, with a 500 ft elevation gain the last half mile, left the battery at 60 volts – or about 50%. Overall, I’m glad I waited to pull the trigger and got the Vsett 10+. I’m really impressed with it. So, there you have it… Beauty & Beast that will richly reward those with the skill and patience to tame it.
