“These got these wrist guards when I ordered my Kingsong 16S, and I've worn these during most of my rides. About two months ago, I was on a group ride, when my 16S cut out during a hard acceleration. I immediately fell forward, and put my hands out in front of me. I landed on the wrist guards, and slid about 5-10 feet. No damage to my hands, or wrists. The guards had some pretty nice gouges in them, but did their job. Unfortunately, I wasn't wearing elbow, and knee guards at the time, and I wish I had.
I bought some different, more expensive guards (along with knee, and elbow pads), but I usually end up wearing these instead because they are smaller, less intrusive, and after my accident, I trust them. Well worth the money, especially when you consider the potential cost of NOT wearing them.”

“These are great wrist guards. I've now had two serious spills while wearing these and they protected both my wrists and palms perfectly. I hadn't received any damage or abrasions while wearing them. The thing, besides safety, I like about them most is that they are perfect for anyone that is wearing a watch. The watch could be a standard, Android or Apple watch. There is enough room between the straps to fit the watch perfectly. And you still have full protection and use of the watch. The minimal design also allows for great air flow during the hot summer months here in Utah.”
