“I needed a clear cover for the top of an heirloom desk made of beautifully finished wood. I needed the cover to be thick enough to protect the desktop, but didn't really want a thick glass top which is breakable and heavy. I stumbled on ExactMats in a search for clear surface protectors. I made the measurements of the desktop, chose the thickest clear cover (Crystal 80 Mil) and ordered it. It arrived in a few days and fit perfectly. It was a cold day when it arrived, rolled up in a box and was initially a bit stiff. After a very short time, it unrolled easily, fit perfectly and looks like glass, but is softer to the touch, sound absorbing and lets the beauty of the wood underneath come through.
