“Ordered for an unusual use....upside down (spikes up) near an outdoor pet hutch. It keeps raccoons and opposum from coming near the hutch. This runner is well made - thicker and better quality than a previous slightly less expensive one we bought a little over a year ago. That one did not fair well outside but I believe this one will be much better due to the heavy duty nature of the material. The spikes are sufficient and durable to keep little paws from wanting to walk on it. This is a mat I would buy if we lived in a snowy area and needed to protect a rug.”
