“Disclaimer: before this tour the only background we had about Ancient Rome was from the movies. Our guide took it in stride though, and presented the history in a very clear and concise way, using a lot of visual aids to bring the ruins back to life. It was the best history lesson we’ve ever had—we regret not booking other tours with this company!”
“This tour is a dream for families with small children. Just before our trip my youngest finished his first lesson about the ancient Romans, and he was beyond excited to follow in the gladiator’s footsteps in the Colosseum. Our guide Denis engaged the kids immediately by bringing just the right amount of humor to the history. My oldest is a self-proclaimed mythology buff (thank you Percy Jackson!) and peppered Denis with questions, but he answered every single one with patience and enthusiasm. My husband and I were worried that the kids wouldn’t enjoy the second half of the tour in the Roman Forum, but boy we were wrong! It was just as exciting as learning about the gladiators, if not more. Given the chance we’d do this tour again 10 times over! Grazie Denis!”
“Oh my gosh! Serena was AMAZING.
I have two daughters, ages 12 and 14, and a son who is 9. Serena met us at our hotel in Rome in the afternoon of our first full day in Italy. We were a little jet-lagged, but Serena had a way of snapping us out of it. She was animated, articulate, fun, goofy, and most-importantly, incredibly knowledgeable. She brought numerous photographs to help us use our imaginations to picture what the Colosseum would have looked like thousands of years ago. We had a blast.

“Our experience on the Collosseum tour was the highlight of our trip. “We really wanted to visit the Colosseum and the Forum, but always had problems with the entry tickets. It's almost impossible to find availability.
Eyes of Rome took care of everything, from the pick up to the drop off, and of course, we entered the sites skipping the long lines.
We loved our tour and our smart guide Johnluca (I don't know if I spelled it right). He was just fantastic.
He gave my 12-year old a very good understanding of both sites and what they would have been like in the past.
