“A friend had recommended Eyes of Rome to me and I must admit that at the beginning I was a bit skeptical.
You know...booking online...you just never really know what you’re going to get, plus, I am not much of a large tour type of person.
Anyway, I decided to book a tour of the Colosseum because my friend seemed to be very enthusiastic, and most of all, because I didn't have much time to organize my trip to Rome.
I must say...the tour was worth every penny!!!
Silvia, my tour guide, was an art historian and was extremely knowledgable, funny, and patient. I really could have listened to her share facts all day long. We got to see much more of the Colosseum and the Foro Romano than I thought we would and we got to skip the line to get inside. I will be back in Italy next year and fully intend to book another tour with Eyes of Rome :) Ciao!”
“Today my boyfriend, Andrew, and I took a tour of the Colosseum and Forum with Fabiana and we had the time of our lives!
Fabi was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, kind, sweet, funny and welcoming. We could leave a whole list of amazing words to describe her.
She picked us up promptly from our hotel and we immediately likes her. We walked to the Colosseum and learned so much just by walking there. During the tour, she told us things we could have never imagined knowing. We learned so much and it was exactly what we were looking for in a private tour. She even went beyond our expectations! She knew all the best spots to take photos and always offered to take one for us. We loved that she knew other tour guides and also interacted genuinely with everyone. We also really enjoyed the use of technology and the images were very helpful. She had an answer to all of our questions. We wish we could have spent the whole day with her!!
When we come to Rome again, we will contact and request her for a tour again. She was truly incredible and we will remember the tour for a very long time. We will recommend her to anyone we know also traveling to Rome.

“My kids really enjoyed our tour with our tourguide Francisco. We started at our hotel where wqe met Francesco and our driver Masssimo who drove us to the ancient ruins.
Francesco made the history really with a special attention for the kids who loved his sense of humour and all the jokes.

“We used Eyes of Rome tour guides back in 2008 and again in 2019. Unfortunately we do not remember the name of our guide in 2008 but she was eccellent. Our last tour guide was Katie and she was so funny and knowledgeable. We enjoyed every minute of the Colosseum, so much passion, dedication and ove for her work. She also gave us a ton of recommendations for restaurants and bars and thinge to do on our own. 4 stars because they increased prices since 2008 :-)”
“Do an early morning colosseum tour! We loved the suggestion to wake up early and be done by 11 am avoiding the big crowds. we entered the collsseum arena in no time and roberta was just perfect for our party. we particularly enjoyed her enthusiasm and energy. 6 stars!”
