It was the best tour we had in italy by far! Our tour guide, Roberta Di Pietro, met us at our hotel together with ojr driver Masimo. We reached the vatican museums in no time. The entire time spent with Roberta was exactly the tour we were hoping for. She is the sweetest tour guide we could have asked for, perfect for the kids. Her english is superb! We skipped lines and got a head start before everyone else. we were blessed to to take some pictures of areas with not a single person around us. Thie Vatican Prime tickets is a must and it is definitely worth the extra cost.

“After hearing stories about the crowds and what friends could and could not do and see at the Vatican, we booked the early bird tour with Eyes of Rome.
Visiting the Vatican Museums had always been a dream and when we finally made it to Rome, this was the first tour that we booked. We are sure we chose the best tour company! We already had toured other sites with this company, but the Vatican tour was the best experience for the three of us. Our guide Stefania picked us up at our hotel, got us to and into the Vatican before it opened to the public. We had lots of time and space to take nice pictures as well as enjoy the tour in an unrushed manner. The Vatican museums and Basilica are so huge and intimidating, but Stefania was so engaging that we never felt overwhelmed by all the information. She explained things with stories that we know we will remember. She had a map of the Sistine Chapel and other areas, as well as detailed pictures on her tablet to pre-teach information that would help us better understand what we would be seeing. She taught about symbolism, Greek mythology, artists, etc. Stefania patiently and enthusiastically answered our many questions. Our son was particularly fascinated by the Etruscan and Egyptian galleries where we spent the most of our time :-) As well as Raffaello's rooms.
No need to say a word about the Sistine Chapel. Literally breathtaking.
This tour is a must for everyone coming to Rome and especially the early bird entrance with Eyes of Rome. Worth every penny!!!!!
