“My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this day trip from Rome with Stefania from Eyes of Rome. Stefania and our driver Massimo picked us up promptly from our hotel and we got acquainted on the drive out to Tivoli. We started our visit at Hadrian’s Villa, which is a vast palace where the emperor basically ruled the Roman Empire from. Stefania brought it all to life with helpful visual aids and interesting gossip about Hadrian. After all the walking in the sun we had worked up quite an appetite, so Stefania whisked us off to a beautiful restaurant in town where we ate on a vine-covered terrace next to some ancient ruins (its even more breathtaking than it sounds!). Our afternoon was devoted to Villa d’Este, filled with lovely Renaissance frescoes and one of the most amazing fountain-filled gardens we’ve ever seen. Stefania we will never forget you—thanks for making our day in Tivoli so memorable!”
