“I can't imagine trying to level cabinets with shims... This is my second home kitchen I have done with EZ Levels. I did have to add a 1x4 into the toe kick area to space the leveler out from a wood support block stapled right where I wanted to place the leveler. The EZ Level site has a specific video to show you how to get around this any other obstacle with installation. I also followed the general cabinet installation videos which are extremely helpful for a DIY cabinet installer.
I had to cut my floating floor after it was laid to place my cabinets securely on the sub floor. Because of this I had my cabinets pressed firm against the wall when leveling which I think led to some struggles, definitely move your cabinets away from the wall 1" or so to allow the rear to rock as needed. I found my island very easy and quick to level compared to standard cabinets on the wall. Warning: Do not loosen the levelers too much, even if the rear of the cabinet is not coming down! You will unscrew the threaded rod and have fun getting it reengaged.”
“As always, I depend on the EZ-Level system to guarantee a successful installation of all my cabinets. Even slight movements of cabinets can cause shims to move out of place and far too often I have seen shims compress over time and cause issues with cabinet alignment. The EZ-Level system greatly reduces the number of variables that need to be dealt with when installing cabinets and you will realize exactly what I mean the first time you try them. And the next time you need to install a large appliance cabinet that you can barely set in place, this system will convince you to never do it any other way.”
“Shipping was fast. Installation was straightforward. I did notch out my sides so they would sit flush to the bottom and switched to countersunk screws. Adjustment is easy and made leveling a 3' x 11' island a breeze by myself
I do wish the "foot" was bigger. Seems like a lot of weight on a point but I'm sure they did the math and it's ok psi wise.

“These things are great. I got four sets to install two pantry/ utility cabinets. They're 7 feet tall and 2 feet wide, and we're installed in a corner. I dont know how long it would have taken to install these cabinets the old fashioned way, but I'm sure it would have been a while. I got them perfectly level and plum in under 20 minutes, and that includes attaching the ez level system to the cabinets. These things are easy to install and use and seem very well made. The online directions and videos are very helpful as well. My items were shipped right away and arrived quickly. I would definitely recommend these especially if you've got a large bank of cabinets or are installing in a hard to reach corner with sloped floors. Worth the extra cost, saves on time and frustration.”
