“They have a tendency to break down by turning in the wind. The joints become loose and actually are bent outward making a sharp edge on the pole at the joint all the way around. Sometimes called "wallowed out". Then the flag cloth becomes cut and the joint location.
Soon the wind will make a larger tear on the flag at the place cut.
All this cost unnecessary expense do to the "wallowed out" problem.”
“Nice kit, I was confused at first that the pcs did not fit together, I am used to the pcs that are crimped on one end, and all the pole pcs are the same diameter. This kit is lighter weight than those kits.
After I got the kit, I realized I would have been saving money by just ordering another flag.”
“My existing Feather Flag pole kit snapped in severe wind in March. So I ordered the 17' premium pole kit replacement for my 15' flag. The order arrived promptly, but it was incorrect, only 14'. When I called customer service I was told that I'd put it together incorrectly, not once but three times, once by the shipping department. I even watched the pole assembly video on your website, just to make sure, but I've been using your products for years and know what I am doing. I was asked to send several photos to prove that I had the wrong size. When it was finally determined that I was correct, I was told I'd receive the correct pole kit in the mail. What I received was a pole plus a connector only. Could not believe it. I am not a happy customer.”
“The pole has not preformed well. Parts did not hold length and collapsed or slid down inside into each lower one. Can't get them apart. The company will not correct problem. Until they do I recommend finding another flag company.”
