“Very well made shoes in great quality leather. For such a strong shoe these are very comfortable. This is my second pair and I won't be choosing any other brand for my next pair. One thing to note however: I take a size 10 in everything else and have done since I stopped growing two decades ago yet in Loake Brogues I only need a 9. I have read similar comments on the internet in this regard and this is one thing to watch for when you are buying anything hand-made, it is not something exclusive to Loakes. Different manufactures have slightly different materials, form fittings, processes and techniques, it is not a fault of any kind at all. Don't hesitate to try Loakes, they really are a fantastic shoe.”
