“This is a good cleanser however I find it leaves my face a little bit tight and dry. I prefer the vita active gel cleanser, I wish it was still available. I probably won't purchase again.”
“I have used Fitglow products for years now, but I took a break for several months because I thought I could find similar products at a more affordable price. Whoo, boy was I wrong! After having some bad cystic breakouts, I have returned to using my old Fitglow favorites, including the Cloud Comfort Cream, which has always been safe for me to use while dealing with breakouts. My dermatologist recommended retiring my Paula's Choice and benzoyl peroxide cleansers and switching to a gentler one. I decided to try this cleanser since Fitglow products (and especially those in the Cloud Comfort Line) have worked for me in the past. I had low expectations because I didn't think cleansers were revolutionary. Again, Fitglow proved me wrong. I have only been using this cleanser for a few days now, and holy heck, my skin feels AMAZING. I'm not getting new breakouts, my face isn't burning and sensitive, and my skin feels softer. I don't know what wizardry Fitglow is using (seriously, what deities did y'all make sacrifices to in order to get these incredible formulas??), but this cleanser is life-changing. I will never buy another one.
I have combination skin that is prone to cystic acne. I get a very oily t-zone, but my cheeks are sensitive and dry. This product manages to clean my face without stripping or drying me out. I also think some of my cysts are healing faster because of the arnica (or perhaps another ingredient) in the cleanser. I've noticed that pairing this cleanser with the Cloud Comfort Cream makes my skin even softer and more moisturized. I don't know why this is so good, but it is really that good. The smell and sensory experience are great too. There is definitely a scent, but it's not overwhelming. And the foam is light as cotton candy in my hands. A little goes a long way too, so while it is pricy, you don't have to use tons of it to clean your face, neck, and chest.
For my fellow acne sufferers, please check this out. Your skin may not like it as much as mine does, but this cleanser could be a game-changer for some of you. People with acne tend to think that they need harsh, stripping, or drying cleansers to keep the oil at bay. Maybe that works for some people, but in my experience, gentler products are always better Stripping your skin can cause more breakouts by causing your skin to produce more oil to compensate for what was removed with a cleanser. This cleanser is not going to strip you because it's sooo gentle.
Overall, this is a 12/10 product. It's a great value. It's vegan and cruelty-free (we love an ethical company!), and it works. Thank you, Fitglow, for rocking my world with your products. Please continue making this; I'll buy it until I'm in the grave.”
