“I've been searching high and low for a clean and natural foundation. Fitglow was always in the background for me, but I found myself visiting the website a few times a week looking at it, debating. I tried a lot - Inika (which I do love their powder foundation!), Kjear Weiss, Juice Beauty, Vapour, Alima, etc (the list goes on). While I found a powder I like, finding a traditional liquid foundation was hard. So I decided to order some samples on another website and see how it went.
My fight with foundation goes back to using drug store brands eventually switching to boutique brands. Being a wedding photographer and out in the elements all the time, I've always struggled with obvious foundation separating. I have an oily/combination skin type so its inevitable. I've worked a few weddings now after purchasing this foundation and honestly, I've been impressed. It does not break me out first and foremost. It applies well, melts into the skin quickly and provides a light to medium coverage. Like my skin, but better! If you have a super red acne spot, it may not cover them all that well (use concealer on those), but light scaring won't be a problem. I feel GOOD while wearing it, which I can't say the same about a lot of the makeup brands I've tried. Best of all, there has been minimal separation. It will start by the end of the day, but when I look in the mirror its not "BAM IN YOUR FACE" like it has been with everything else I've tried. We'll see how it fairs on super humid days, but thats not really something that would deter me from buying again.
My ONLY issue is that even the V2 (which matches my skin immediately upon application) does go a bit darker on me as I wear it. Again, its not too too bad if my shoulders and most of my chest/arms are covered. But tank tops its kind of obvious that my face is a little darker than the rest of me. I might pick up the fair V1 shade and see if I mix it with the V2 and eliminate that problem until I've picked up a little tan being outdoors at weddings.
It not that big of an issue to make me not buy again. I'm absolutely obsessed with this foundation.Its the best performing clean foundation I've used yet. So impressed that I own several things by them and will be picking up some of the Vita Active line because its absolutely wonderful.”

“I have been using Vita Active Foundation for a week and I really want to love it. However, as much as I want to I have some serious concerns. 1.) I find it difficult to blend into my skin - perhaps I have the wrong color and this is attributing to it. 2.) I have cystic acne that I have been working to clear up, but there are still some problem areas and I do not feel as though this covers up my acne at all. I do not find it to be buildable. 3.) We have recently been stationed in Germany and the climate here has made my skin quite dry. I am working to correct such using a variety of oils and moisturizers, but unfortunately I do not find the foundation to blend easily into these areas. 4.) I look extremely dewy afterwards, but it is easy to apply a translucent powder over and does not become caked in my creases. If you have skin that is not dry and minimal acne I think this product would be great as an every day quick fix, as it goes on more like a tinted moisturizer to me than a foundation. Overall, I now feel as though I need to purchase a concealer and am not sure if I should stick with this line or branch out to other all natural makeup brands.”
“This is my go-to foundation for daily wear to work and especially if my hormonal/acne prone skin is acting up since I know there are no acne-provoking ingredients in here. The texture is mousse-like and it blends easily with a good buffing brush or the foundation brush by Fitglow (SO SOFT). Coverage is sheer with 2 layers, but it evens out my skin and my skin still looks like skin! My skin DOES look better throughout the day, contrary to literally every other foundation--green or conventional on the market. My only gripe is that it does not work as well on my skin in the summer months. Since there are no thickeners or ingredients to make it last long, with a little moisturize from sweat or rain drops, it does break apart a little. Still, this is not enough of a problem for me to not wear it during those months since I can simple press it down into my skin with clean fingertips and it looks good again.”
“This foundation is so soothing and I love the natural dewy look it gives my skin. I also love the ingredients - since using this foundation everyday for the past two weeks I've noticed a massive difference in my acne scars and overall skin texture. I would say this foundation offers light to medium coverage at best, it covers scars well but I don't know how well it would cover active acne. It's more of a bb cream but I love it because my skin literally glows at the end of the day!”
