“For reference, I am fair skinned, blonde, blue eyes. So here's my take on the colors I have been fortunate to try. First, I love that that the color never settles into my lip lines-even after it fully dries! I also love that it doesn't make my very sensitive lips peel after it dries (like most lip things do). Here are the colors I have listed from most favorite to least.
I will also say, since I bought this during the holidays, there was a promotion with 2 lip serum freebies and I feel like they went the extra mile to make sure I didn't get any duplicates. I could be wrong and maybe I just got lucky, but I really think they were mindful of which freebies they gave me.
1. Gospel- I feel gorgeous in this. It's a berry color that makes my eyes pop and it's the only lip serum I've tried that I can feel the plumping effect.
2. Juice- If my lips have peeled, this color hides any peeling. It's the perfect amount of red. Red enough to add color, but not so red that it's the first thing people notice. Great every day color. This is actually the first sample I recieved and I went back for more! This one has glitter.
3. Nudie - This one looks the most like a traditional lipstick in my opinion. Great for work.
4. Bloom - Adds nice amount of color without being overboard.
5. Buff- This is a less pink and more brown shade of Nudie. They are almost identical, but I definitely prefer Nudie! So if you're torn between the two and you like browns more, go with Buff. If you like more of a pink, go with Nudie.
One last thing to note is the ones without glitter do lose their shine after an hour or two, but still feel moisturizing and the color stays on! I love this about it! The lip serums last on the lips about 2-3 hours. I also love that I don't feel guilty about wearing lip color while pregnant. I just feel beautiful.”
“Bought this after missing out on the Night Serum Trio set and it's a nice value given the price of one tube. The pouch is stiff and a tad unyielding, which might be a good thing based on your needs, but I like things with more give to them. Still, it'll come in handy for something.”
