About Flair.co:

We founded Flair to solve a problem that almost every house or apartment has: the room that doesn't heat or cool evenly. Its temperature is out of sync with the rest of the house. It's either too hot or too cold.

Flair fixes that. We built a suite of products that give you room-level temperature control at an affordable cost.

We want you to be comfortable and to save energy. It's as simple as that.

We installed a mini split in the top floor of a 1950s duplex in climate zone 3: summers get in the 100s and cool desert-like night times in the 50s and 60s. We expected the mini split to cool during the day and heat at night to keep the room at a baby-friendly temperature, and got a Mitsubishi system that can more than adequately support the square footage. And it did! The system kept us very comfortable that whole first year. But it did not support typical thermostat features like schedules and accessory room sensors out of the box. To add to that the lack of insulation in this old house and the location on the top floor, the embedded temperature sensor was not accurately reading the room so we were constantly adjusting the set point by hand. Our HVAC technicians advised that buying an adapter to support a third-party thermostat would be expensive and possibly ineffective. I found Flair when researching that option and decided to try that first since the implementation cost was far lower and the return policy showed confidence in its efficacy. We got a bridge and puck a month ago. It was easy to set up and we’ve had a positive experience. It’s pretty wild to see how the puck manipulates the set point to trick the mini split into doing the right thing. We’re really happy with how stable the room temperature stays so far. It’s been a hot October and a good test of whether Flair will work for us in the long term, particularly in the summer.

Very happy with your product. The puck works so good with my window AC. Highly recommend.

We have a small log cabin in the woods that we'd equipped with WiFi and a Nest thermostat, then added a few, then more Flair pucks and vents. It was an odd application, since it's not lived in year round, with lots of glass in the upper floor, above a walking basemwnt with two bedrooms. It needs minimal heat in a couple rooms to prevent freezing in the winter when unoccupied. Customer support went way beyond anything I could have hoped for in helping me understand and design the best system for the cabin.

Bedroom on North too cold in summer - Bedroom on south too hot in winter. With Flair vents in each room the problem has been solved!

We have several pucks and they are doing a great job managing the smart vents in each room in order to have a more balanced house.

I found that it was very accurate and after correct plus placement, it could reach and control the fence

I purchased the Flair Puck because I was having trouble getting good control of my mini split with the provided remote. It was always colder or hotter than I wanted the room to be. The Puck seemed like a Nest for mini splits. I was surprised to learn I needed to keep it plugged in to work without a bridge. So now I need to consider a bridge for another $99. Please make that more clear in your product promos. I had trouble connecting the Puck to my mini split and I was pleased with the product support that resolved that problem. I had calibration problems that FAQs helped solve. Now all seems to work. So I give 4 strars.
