“I started buying smart vents to control a temp difference due to solar load on the south side of my house. I have 8 vents and 1 puck. I bought Honeywell sensors that I connect to my T10 thermostat, which interfaces with flair seamlessly. Today I have a 2275sq.ft. house which remained at 77° in every room while theoutside temp rose to 97° here in Fla.”

“It's not the easiest to set up, but once done it's fantastic. I had to fiddle with it to get all the settings where I wanted but it works amazing now. And it really works! I have a bonus room that gets freezing if the a/c is running and roasting if the heat is running. So I wanted to set up the flair vents so they would close and prevent that. I am using 2 vents. I had to set it up where the flair would not control the central thermostat, only open and close when needed. It simply works perfectly for that purpose. I don't have this issue in the rest of the house much, but I would still consider getting them everywhere so that people could adjust room temperature to their own preference. Girls like it very warm buy with confidence and customer support is decent. Although when I called she told me she was there to help out people buying not installing but she would help this one time. That seems insane. Sales should be separate from tech support. I found that irritating. Especially because like I said it's not the easiest thing to set up.”

“I’ve had a competitors vents and they didn’t work well. Battery died fast and the made rattling noises when closed. They also didn’t open and close properly These flair vents work well. I am now replacing all my vents with flair.”
