Amsterdam Schiphol is the international and by far the largest airport of the Netherlands. In fact it is one of the biggest airports in Europe and serves as a hub for the national carrier KLM and its partners from Skyteam. Other based airlines are Martinair, Arkefly and Transavia. Schiphol airport is situated to the south-west of Amsterdam in the area of Haarlemmermeer. The unique feature of this airport is that its elevation is approx. 3 meters below sea level which makes it the lowest European airport. “loaded onto my flight flight sim FSX I had to alter frame rates and turn down scenery so that my aircraft would fly smoothly ,very resource hungry ,one problem I noticed strait away flying around the airport in daylight there was only a few KLM aircraft but if made night time the airport is full on contacting the manufacture I was told try turn aircraft casts shadows off which I did an hey presto plenty of KLMs day and night,becouse of this problem I have uninstalled the scenery, but as I have flight sim 2004 I installed it into this sim,and no problems at all infact it is perfect in 2004 pc copes with all the details maxed out.”
