“I’ve struggled with irregular cycles, migraines, acne, and mood swings for over 10 years. Learning to cycle sync helped restore my cycle after birth control. I am learning intuitively which workouts to choose, I am scheduling tasks in relation to my cycle, and most importantly, I am practicing self care and putting myself first. I have NEVER FELT BETTER!! I cannot thank Alisa enough for sharing this information and building such strong, safe, and empowered community”
“Hi all.... I’m a new member and wanted to share how AMAZING this program is already!! I usually have a terrible couple of days when my menstrual cycle starts, but implementing the menstrual phase foods, fitness and lifestyle suggestions has already been a game changer after 1 day!! Cramps, bloating and lethargy are better by at least 50%!!! I can’t even wait to see how I feel after a month on this program!! The toughest part for me so far- has been embracing the fact that it’s ok to take a couple of days of restorative activity and self care. WOW!!”
“Okay so this is a rabbit hole that you may find odd and that perhaps requires a fair amount of open-mindedness, but here goes nothing. One of the secondary effects I've noticed since starting cycle syncing and learning about the infradian clock was... improved eyesight. I had moderate myopia, so not the kind that completely prevents me from functioning without glasses, at least in safe environments, so around the time lockdown started I thought I'd lost my glasses and spent my first cycle syncing months without them. Admittedly I also spent more time outdoor because of the situation, and enjoyed it as it was accompanied by relief from my stressful work. Then when I found my specs again and put them on, they felt way too strong. I went to the optometrist and he confirmed I needed -.75D less correction, which somehow corresponds more or less to my first ever prescription. Incidentally, the onset of myopia for me was a year or two after puberty, perhaps around the time my period was starting to be problematic (I remember my very first ones were not painful). It also was a time when I moved houses and schools and was extremely stressed. Now I honestly wonder if blurry vision is not also a way for the body to call my attention.”
“I joined Flo28 in April after having had 2 miscarriages 6 months apart. I was devastated, but knew I needed to make a change. I heard Alisa first speak about Infradian Rhythm in Jim Kwik Podcast, and started following her on IG. I was so intrigued that I ordered the book, took the period Quiz, got the app. While waiting for Womancode and In the Flo to arrive, I immersed myself in the blog, live master chat replays, listened to the podcast and bookclubs Flo Living offered. Since then I started charting, eating and exercising according to the phases. At the same time while this was happening me and my husband met several doctors to find answers to the reason behind the miscarriages and all they could tell us was that it was idiopathic or no known cause. Got my bloodwork done and all my levels came back normal. We gave ourselves 3 cycles of rest before trying again and in those three cycles I explored the concept of femininity and its energetics, which was something so foreign to me - I've always been the productive, goal driven, singularly focused perfectionist lol. After my second cycle I noticed my energy picking up and this was when I was completely sold. I didn't follow the practice 100%, more like 70/30 but felt so much difference. The practice also connected me with my body. I began to journal my past experiences and learnt to start discerning my thoughts and actions and its so enlightening to experience the feeling of coming home to yourself. After the 3 month break, I felt that it wasn't really about having a baby anymore. I ended up getting so much more, and I can't thank you enough. Funny thing now, I feel that getting pregnant was a bonus lol. And I have such a good feeling about this time.”
“I started cycle syncing this last year and it definitely took some time to get my period back (I was on birth control for 7 years). It finally came back though, so don’t give up hope! Stick it out if you can - your body is trying to figure a lot of things out right now and cycle syncing will get you there eventually. 'I've struggled with cystic acne while on certain types of birth control pills, had a remission for a few years and then when I came off it came back with a vengeance. Cycle syncing was the only thing that helped get my period back after 6 months of struggling, and along with the right supplementation I'm seeing changes in my skin finally. ”
“I have PCOS and have been cycle-syncing my food for 1 year. Before cycle syncing, I was very close to being prediabetic and been following keto. My testosterone levels were also very high. There was talk of putting me on Metformin. Today, a year later, I went to the doctor for updated labs results, I got the good news that my blood sugar has significantly reduced to normal levels and my testosterone went from 3.6 pg/mL to 2.1! And I won't need Metformin! I still have fertility issues and lots of weight to lose, but I am steadily losing belly fat, and I was so encouraged that I'm heading in the right direction. Now I just have to start adding in exercise.”
“Hi everyone! I’ve been cycle syncing for the past six months after finding out I have PCOS (now I’m not sure if I do or if it was a misdiagnoses). I’ve had success with making my cycle regular, skin clear, and digestion better. Recently I’ve been having pelvic pain and I’m not sure why, so I’m wondering if I have Endo. That’s part of why I joined this membership, so that I could find out more about minimizing my pain and treat the root cause. A big thank you to Alisa for making this membership and her protocol, it has been life changing for me and I’ve definitely noticed a difference! I hope you ladies have a great Sunday! Also, has anyone else experienced this pain, I’d love to know what could be causing it?”
