Sometimes it is nice to just feel really good about the nutritional quality of the food you are eating after a tough day in the backcountry. This is one of those meals. Thank you Food for the Sole!

I was really impressed by how the sweet potatoes came to life! I ate this meal for lunch while instructing a course and was grateful for a hearty veggie meal.

The veggies rehydrate so well they actually taste like fresh veg! No clue how they do that, but this meal is phenomenal. Not as flavorful as some of the other meals, but sometimes you want something a bit more bland when you're really tired and having trouble eating - so I love this one for really high energy output days.

I have a lot of food allergies and this was the first backpacking meal I was ever able to find that I could eat, so I always have some on hand for adventures. The sweet potatoes are so tender and I love the bit of crunch from the pumpkin seeds. The kale is super soothing when I’m craving green veggies in the woods. Highly recommend!
