“I ordered my normal size 39 but these shoes run a little large. I have wide feet and I have had to tighten the lacing to get the right fit, widthways. A new experience for me - I am much more accustomed to loosening laces on any pair of new trainers. They are also ever so slightly too long. Half a size smaller would probably be perfect. Thicker socks will probably fix this. Unfortunately, I am currently having to break them in despite the slightly larger fit, because they painfully rub on my Achilles. On the positive side, the sole is comfortable. The toe box is roomy and clearly designed to suit a wider foot, and the shoes would suit an orthotic. Customer service from Footgear was exceptional - a phone call to confirm the order and fast shipping.”
