Read For Small Hands Reviews

Toddlers simply adore gazing at pictures, especially pictures of other babies and toddlers. These babies are drawn with personality and readable expressions that tell us whether they are annoyed, sleepy, excited, curious, or baffled (to name a few). Mostly, they are loved ""...for trying so hard, for traveling so far, for being so wonderful, just as they are.""This captivating, multicultural picture book celebrates the joyful activities of every baby, everywhere, with rhythmic, rhyming text and endearing watercolor vignettes. A lyrical book to read aloud, with lots of vocabulary-building and ""I Spy"" opportunities for toddlers. Board book, 32 pages. Ages 1½ - 3.

This Nana cannot say enough about this wonderful book! Sweet, tender, loving hymn to the gloriousness of babies and those who love and care for them. My 3-year-old grandson loves this book, and so do I.

We've adored this book since we first started reading it when my son was ~6 months old. I love the illustrations (and illustrator, in general!) and the MANY babies and families represented. I also love the way it reminds me of my little one's progression over time, now that he is almost 2. Truly a sweet board book. Would make a great addition to a baby shower gift.

This is a lovely book. The drawings are attractive and diverse. It's a long book and somewhat repetitive ("everyday everywhere..." on every page), but my two-year-old and four-year-old both love reading it. It represents well the diversity and beauty of young childhood.
