Hugg-A-Planet Earth was used as a pillow for a sectional in a recreational room used primarily by my 6 grandchildren. We made up games using the pillow to check our geography knowledge and also used it as a ball. Perfectly safe inside as it's very soft and cushy. It's colorful and fun! we enjoyed it.

It's great but I think it should be half the price. Too much money for what it is.

My kids (ages 4 and 5) were drawn to this and interested in finding where countries were that they knew of. Unique and hands-on way of exploring their world.

This globe is cute but unfortunately the stitching is such that the accuracy of the globe is poor. The continents are misaligned, names of places are obliterated and it all is rather funky. If you want just a stuffed cloth ball it's fine but don't intend to use it as a globe.

Dear Nana, We are so sorry that you were disappointed in this item. Though the Hugg-A-Planet has many recognizable places and can be used as introduction to geography, you are correct that it is not a perfect globe. It was designed to give an overall impression of what the world looks like in a wonderful huggable pillow. However, due to the unique shape, sometimes the seams aren't perfectly aligned. We do want you to be happy. You may return any item for a full refund or exchange. Please contact Customer Service at 877-975-3003 or info@montessoriservices.com for assistance. Thank you again for your feedback. Kristine (Krissy) Beoka Merchandising Manager

We got this for my daughter when she was two, and she and my husband developed a lovely bedtime routine around it. After reading stories and turning out the light, my daughter would give this soft pillowy globe a little toss and then point to a country (pretty soon she was also able to name most of them) and my husband would make up a story that took place in that country. I love that this globe is soft and handle-able by her even at such a young age. And I love that it gives her a sense of the spherical shape of the earth.

[...] We use the pillow in preschool classrooms to help explain how we share the earh with others on land and in the sea and introduce caring for the environment.
