These placemats have been wonderful. My 3 year olds can tell you the biggest and smallest states, the state they live in and the states all of their relatives live in. I can see this as a teaching item for years to come.

Works well, nice size, and the kids do look at it, and look for states on it. Just what I wanted them to do.

My 4 yr old is so excited to see where both of his grandmothers live on the map! Can't wait to use it more!

I bought these for my sons (3 and 4yrs old). They look at them while we eat dinner and there are always good questions that come up from them. My 4-yr old informed me that he wanted to go to New York, New Mexico, New Jersey, New Hampshire because those are *NEW* places. My 3-yr old has learned that blue is water and other colors are land. They love talking about these maps.
