Our kids love this book. They love learning about and looking at pictures of the houses in this book because they are so different from any place they have seen.

The illustrations are fascinating and showing how housing varies so widely around the world is eyeopening. We would have liked a little more text description.

This shows a selection of different ways people live, and living in the States gives my child a great appreciation of how lucky she is living in our spacious house.. where we don't share the housw with chickens and they have a bed that is not a mat on the floor.

great to show how people live differently around the world and show how fortunate we are every time I catch my son wasting water, I bring up how most of the children in the book have to get their water from the well
