The photos and sparse words are perfect to show the similarities between all babies and differences in culture. Each baby is precious.

We got this book for our one year old daughter's birthday. She loves to look at the baby faces. They are beautiful pictures of babies from around the world. Her older sister, who is four, is interested in knowing where the babies are from so it is also nice that book has a location next to each photo.

I am working with infants and toddlers and this book is the favorite of all of us - staff, parents, and children. Very young children crawl to our bookshelf and take this book out. Sometimes they enjoy looking at the beautiful pictures of the babies of the world and other time, they bring it to us to read. Now our copy is getting tired, I am going to order a new copy for my classroom.

Our 6 month old daughter received this book when she was just getting used to hold things, and in general books were big and cumbersome. But the moment this book got into her sight, she found a way to grab and hold it so that she could see and touch other babies. We adore this book, even now at 16 months old. It has been a companion through many momentous months of growth, and remains a favorite.

Purchased this book for my (then) 2 yr. old grand daughter. She loved seeing all the babies and commented profusely on the photographs. It is a great size to carry around and easy to open and manage. The photographs are of great interest to little ones.

As a first time mom I was surprised to find out that babies love babies. My son loved to look at these baby faces from as early as a month or so. He liked it much better than looking at a book with abstract high contrast shapes. Of course very handy to have the cardboard pages. Could be even a bit smaller for him to handle on his own when he could grab books but really size was not an issue, the pictures were a good size.

My 10 month twin boys love any book, right now, with baby faces so this one is a favorite of theirs. They are captivated by all of the different babies and colorful clothing, etc.
