Even my four-year-old can use this to cut everything but the very thickest of carrots. Makes all kinds of snacks fun to eat--even for grown ups!

Weilded by my 4 year old, the chopper cut easily through pre-cut veggies like potatoes and carrotts. I peeled and cut the veggies in long 1" pieces, and then she sliced and diced them up for soup. She never lost control of the chopper and it never slipped. Sharp enough to cut the veggies, but no too sharp for her to use. Great product.

All of these small kitchen tools are great for your little ones. I simply give my four year-old some carrots and cumcumbers and she is busy the entire time I am making lunch or dinner. I love being able to give her a meaningful task to do that she enjoys so much. These tools are also very high quality.

We bought this and the vegetable chopper (w/ the wooden handle). Although my daughter uses both tools, this wavy chopper gets slightly more use because it's easier for her to handle. She's 5 years old. She finds it easier because she can use two hands and apply more pressure, so the "knife" goes through the potato, carrot, etc. The wavy chopper is great for potatoes, cucumbers, carrots, even apples. She loves tohelp in the kitchen and these products make it even more fun.

My 3 year old loves to use this to help chop apples for apple pie. He feels proud to contribute to the baking and I feel at ease with him using this, as it's totally safe.

This was a big hit for our 4 year old daughter whol loves to help in the kitchen! She loves to use it, however, you do have to really pay attention when they are using it, it can get a bit tough for them to cut certain things. We also purchased the wavy chopper with the wooden handle, and found that one a bit easier to use than this one. Also, you have to cut really wide pieces with this chopper due to the size of the "waves". But, do love the fact that it is a great learning tool!

We love these choppers! Not only do our small children (3 & 5yrs old) use them but we do too! Sturdy and well constructed. They handle great and are perfect for small little hands to use to chop just about anything while helping you in the kitchen.

My little guy just turned 3 and LOVES to help in the kitchen. This great little tool enables him to really help: he's now carefully cutting carrots, cucumbers and apples. It's so much fun to have him engaged, and this little tool and others from Small Hands make all the difference!
