Bought these for sister and self for Xmas last year and had to come back for more for my other children (altogether, 5, 3 and 2). Who knew a chopper could excite so much. Good for carrots, chopping onions, celery, etc. Not to mention potatoes. Even my two-yr-old loves it.

This chopper was a great way to get my 4 year old son (not generally interested in helping with non-sweets in the kitchen) to help with dinner. He can cut just about anything, add a fun little wave and it's safer than a regular knife.

We gave this to my 4 year old daughter for Christmas and I think it was her favorite gift. She LOVES to help the family chop vegetables for meals and the rest of us even use it because it is so easy to use, convenient, and makes decorative waves. My daughter is always SO proud of herself at dinner when she can tell Daddy that the wavy veggies are the ones SHE chopped!

I actually cut my thumb open severely using this myself--it's EXTREMELY sharp and it slipped on a vegetable and rolled onto my thumb. However, it works great if you make sure all vegetables are cut in half with flat sides down...no rolling that way. :)

Our almost 3-year old daughter can help prepare meals with this chopper. She loves it, and I love that she snacks on the fruits and vegetables that I have her chop, as she chops them! (One of the few ways I can get her to eat raw fruits and veggies!) It's sharp enough to get through carrots and apples, but I don't consider it to be a hazard to her. Great product.
