4.7 Rating 41 Reviews
Read For Small Hands Reviews

Given a properly child-size chopper, children will love preparing ""fancy"" crinkle-cut carrots, cucumbers, or other small vegetables for snack (or soup.) with this handy tool.Using this wood-handled chopper helps children master the same hand positions they'll need to safely use a knife (one hand holding the handle and one hand pushing down on top of the blade). Show your child how to press down steadily, keeping fingers safely away from the blade. 6¾"". Hand wash.

Not only can my four year old easily use this, but it's great for making "carrot fries" and "apple fries" and other healthy snacks--they are automatically more fun when they look like crinkly fried potatoes. Wonderful.

My under two year-old is so thrilled that she can "do it herself"...and I don't worry about her hurting herself. Highly recommend!

Great utensil for little hands! Kids can help with chopping the fruit or vegetables for lunch and dinner. Very easy to use and great for little hands.

My kids like this. It cuts anything from carrots and celery to mashing banana for bread. The larger blade and position of the handle give my 3 and 5 yr old more control than a regular table knife.

My two year old son loves using his chopper on the carrots and parsnips for pot roast. The design allows the him to learn chopping rather than sawing. Much better then using a safe knife. Awesome product!

This was a big hit for my 4 year old daughter who just loves to help in the kitchen. She was so excited to use her own chopper! She loves making her "fancy" shapes. The handle is a bit long for her right now, making it slightly hard to cut, but she is learning to cut properly and by next year, this will be the perfect fit for her little hands!

For vegetables, such as carrots, cucumbers, potatoes and celery, we've found that these are the best, and safest tool for children to use! I can't seem to find them anywhere else either. The children can even use them to cut apple slices into smaller bite size pieces, and cheese for a fun look!

A stocking stuffer for my two and four year old boys. They love this to chop veggies for pot roast. They also use the swiss pealer. Definitely hand wash and dry this item so keep it in good working order. This is very sturdy, good quality, and safe. The design allows the user to push down on the working head of the chopper which makes for much better end result then just letting a child use a "safe" knife. Also, they learn the technique of chopping rather then sawing. Awesome product!
