I have purchased 20 sets of this silverware for my 10 grandchildren, ages 8mo. to 7 years, over the past 6 months. The quality is very nice and the tools are a perfect size for children 18 mo. to about 10 years old. My kids love this as it fits in the silverware drawer so much nicer that the fat-plastic-handled stuff! The spoon is round and holds a decent sized bite. The knife has a slightly sharp edge and the kids love being able to butter and cut their own pancakes and waffles! It helps them eat like little adults and learn good table manners. I'm sure it will become an heirloom item that they can pass on to their children some day. It is sturdy and diswasher safe--what's not to love?

This children's silverware set is beautiful. The fork and spoon are a good size for my three-year-old. The one thing that I don't love is that there are no teeth on the knife. So My child cannot actually cut anything with it. I would love to see this changed. Another reviewer had mentioned this drawback as well, but it did not deter me from buying the set.

This set was perfect for our 4 year old. It is the exact same pattern as our larger silverware but just the right size for her smaller hands.

This silverware works great for my grandchildren (ages 18 mo to 7 years). They love having a knife they can use. The knife in this set has a little better edge than the old childrens' service we had from my children's days (1970's). All of my kids were happy to get this for their children for Christmas. It is so much nicer for the children to handle than the fat-handled stuff that is popular for children these days. It also fits much more easily in the silverware drawer. The one negative is that the knife handle is solid, rather than hollow core, so it is a little heavier than I expected.

Both of my children, 3.5 and 6, use this set. I like the weight and that they're actual flatware but in small size. Those stubby toddler sporks with plastic handles do nothing for this phase of their development. My 6 year old is struggling (more than is really necessary, lol) to learn how to cut, so the knife in particular is great for his hand size. My only disappointment is there is no 'cutting edge' on the knife, so it doesn't seem to work as well as I'd hoped for actually cutting firmer substances.

This is excellent silverware - we purchased it because we liked that it was "real" as opposed to "kiddie" silverware, and because we try to avoid unnecesary plastics in our home. He used the smaller size (just a fork and spoon in the set- also available on this website) from the beginning of his solid food experience, and is now 2 years old and uses this slightly larger set (which also includes a knife). They're great, although expensive.

Very attractive set. A perfect size for our 3 year old and while a little large for our just turning 2 year old, she really enjoys using them. We love the spoon. Unlike many other sets we have seen/tried the spoon bowl is deep enough for liquids yet still manageable for small mouths.

My 2 y.o. granddaughter loved this set. She feel she is a 'big' girl and can use utensils that the grown ups use. I would recommend it as a good buy.
