I ordered this child flatware set without reading the fine print. Our children have their own kitchen set up area with low shelves and child size serving and dining items so they can "do it myself" when it comes to helping with meals. The set is very nice, looks great, is a good size for older than preschool kids, good weight, and clans nicely. What I didn't read is that the price was for 1 place setting. I would have to spend $60 for my kids to have one set apiece and that's not enough for two meals a day. I think I spent only a bit more than that for my 12 place setting with service pieces. Anyway, great product, just felt too overpriced.

We are really impressed with this set. We bought 2 sets for our 2 year old (23 months), and the spoon and fork are fantastic. The knife she's enjoying working with, especially with soft things like a banana. Overall, good quality. Somewhat slow to ship / arrive, but not terrible.

My 4 year old granddaughter loved the set. Just the right size for kids to use for years. Cannot think of anything we did not like

A thicker handle would have worked better for my 3.5 year-old son. As shown in the photo, the handle is very thin (thinner than our regular sized flatware). It's only wide enough at the very top, not enough for all fingers. Perhaps the flatware might be more user-friendly when my son is older and learns to hold the fork and spoon the way we, adults, do. For now, he prefers to use the thick-handle/toddler forks or, even, our adult ones. They are beautiful and well made. The spoon oval could be larger--it's sized like a baby spoon.

My 4.5 year-old daughter uses these in her school lunchbox every day. They are sturdy and so much better than plastic (in terms of sanitation and the environment). They are the perfect size for her little hands. The knife, in particular is very handy because with it, she can spread butter, jam, hummus, etc. on her bread and crackers and does not need help from me or use a huge butter knife that is clumsy for her to handle and sets her up for failure and struggle. They are also VERY well made and you can't beat the price!

I bought a set for my 18 month old and 33 month old. Both children love having their own flatware that they can manage by themselves. They will both be using these for a few more years. I love that the fork is actually sharp enough to pierce food, unlike other stainless steel forks for toddlers that are dull and rounded. The spoon is large enough to hold a good amount of food but still fit into their mouths. We have not used the knives yet, but I would describe it as a slightly serrated butter knife.

My son really likes this silverware, particularly since it matches our flatware. I ordered two sets. The fork and spoon are fine, but one knife came out of the box rusted on top and the other knife rusted at the top shortly thereafter. If you're getting this to teach your child to use a knife, beware of this issue. I won't let my son use it. Other than that, the set is fine.

Love, love, love them. We got three sets for when friends are over. Perfect size, great for teaching how to set the table, makes my son feel like he's a big kid because his cutlery looks similar to the adults' cutlery, and for special occasions like Thanksgiving, so nice to see those on the table as opposed to big plastic spoons and forks. They come in a nice little box, which puts them high on my list of possible gifts for others.
