These glasses are very sturdy and have stood up to my 2 year old dropping them several times with no scuffs. He is very proud of himself and likes having is own glass. However, they are very small (a little larger than a shot glass), so do not plan for them to hold a lot of liquid. On the other hand, he can only spill that much on himself as he is learning, so maybe it is a blessing in disguise!

THese glasses are just the right size. We are introducing them at each meal filled only a portion of the way with water. Our little girl has poured the water on herself quite a few times. She is improving slowly and we are increasing the amount of water we put in slowly. They wash great by hand or in the dishwasher. (Our little girl is 15 months old.)

These worked great for my son's first glasses. They are small, but it was easy for him to pick up and hold, even when they were full. He only dropped one once, and it didn't break.

I was debating trying these because our 21-month son could handle a larger plastic cup ok. But I liked the idea, so I tried them and loved them right away! He is able to handle these small glasses with much more control than the lightweight, larger plastic cups. And he enjoys using them. Now he's wanting to pour and I am glad these don't topple over as easily as the plastic cups.

I didn't realize these are actually shot glasses. They are great for practice--my 22 month old has yet to break any and can carry the empties across tile floor in the kitchen to the sink easily. But due to the low capacity, you may want to also have a small pitcher handy if your toddler wants to drink more. We use a small creamer jug for refills and eventually we'll teach him to pour his own refills. If your child has already mastered using a cup, the next size up might be a better choice.

We purchased 3! One for milk, one for juice and one or water. These are great for nurturing autonomy in little ones. It also allows mom and dad to have a rest from "bartending" for young ones.

I bought these glasses because they are the same ones used in my daughter's Montessori center. They are very sturdy and haven't broken yet! I should note that my daughter is only 8 months but is learning to drink from these small glasses beautifully! However she does drop them from time to time! We started out by tipping the glass up to her mouth and then just this week she grabbed the glass from my hands and started drinking on her own! Incredible!

I got these for my nearly six-month-old daughter, and she loves drinking from them! They are the perfect size for her to hold in her own hands, and to have the proper curve for her mouth. Of course, I still have to help her hold them, because otherwise they'd go flying--she doesn't have perfect hand coordination yet--but just in the past two weeks I have seen such great improvement in her ability to drink from a cup, and to control the cup itself. As a Montessori teacher and as a mom, I cannot recommend these highly enough.
