This cup is really good for my 5 m old baby. she can try to grasp and the way this cup is built helps a lot to strenghten the muscles. since my baby is breastfead sometimes is hard for her to use the bottle.

I was very happy with the pitcher that I ordered that went with this but the glasses are not glasses at all. They are shot glasses. They are way too small to be a glass, even for for a child. They even say "bar" glasses on the packaging. It really wasn't what I was imagining for my children to drink out of.

Dear Mom of 2 boys, We are sorry that the First Glasses were not as expected. These thick, restaurant-quality glasses are very small and can be used successfully by very young children for first experiences from drinking from a glass. Unfortunately, we do not have control over the packaging from the manufacturer and these glasses are sold to the mass market in a variety of ways (including being sold as dessert and shot glasses). I expect that you would be happier with our larger 5 ½ oz. Durable Juice Glasses (D510). We would be more than happy to offer you an exchange or a refund. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 877-975-3003 or info@montessoriservices.com for assistance. Thank you again for your feedback. Kristine (Krissy) Beoka Merchandising Manager

These are decent quality glasses, but they are smaller than expected. They are basically shot glasses. I understand they need to be small for small hands, but I was hoping they would be a little larger. They would be good for the 1yr old learning to drink from a cup but are not good for toddler or pre-school use.

These glasses are great. They are extremely durable (they've survived a few drops on the wood floor), dishwasher safe, and the perfect size/weight for a toddler. Our son started using them around 18 mo. and is now 2 1/2. They also make great glasses for adults when you only want a small amount. We will purchase another set when our daughter is old enough to use them.

These were great first glasses for my son. I didn't think they would be quite as small as they were but we still used them! I think I have 1 left. A few spills of course...

These glasses are cute and sturdy but they are really too small to be practical. They are maybe shot-glass size or smaller. Once the child is old enough to manage drinking out of this, it's not enough liquid to satisfy them, requiring refill after refill.

These are great, very very sturdy, but I didn't check the size before ordering and they are just too small for all but the tiniest kids. These are comparable in size to a shot glass.

A number of people laugh at my attempts to have my 14-month-old son drink from a glass instead of a sippy cup. I know they'll be green with envy when they see him drinking from these. They are the perfect size and shape for his little hands. And he knows it, too. He smiles each time he is handed one of his special glasses. I am so impressed with the quality of these glasses, I am planning to try to find the manufacturer to buy a large set for us!!
