Highly recommended by teachers for use at home. Children can serve themselves independently by twisting the plastic lid open to pour, then twisting it again to close. Easy-grasp handle and nearly dripless spout. Not recommended for hot liquids. Pitcher is dishwasher-safe. Lid is BPA-free polypropylene (plastic #5). Holds 16¾ ounces; 3¼"" base x 6"" high. Please note: The lid on this pitcher is designed so that it will turn easily--it does not seal the pitcher.

Durable glass container. Easy to use and makes the boys feel confident. My now 4 year old loves to serve us at the table! We make diluted juice, keep on a shelf he can reach in the refrigerator and he absolutely loves it!

My 3- and 4-year old girls use this pitcher to pour their milk in the morning. They love using it, and feel helpful and independent. The pitcher cracked in the dishwasher after about a month of use, and I received a replacement at no cost. I am hand-washing it now.

before i bought this pitcher, I was fetching and refilling drinks for my three children all day long, and throughout every meal. They wanted to help themselves, but our gallon sized jugs of milk were just too heavy for them (and the water tap was too high for them to reach). I bought this pitcher and simply refill it as needed, and now the children are in charge of their own drinks. I put it out at the table for every meal and they pass it around to eachother, and the older two pour for the youngest one. they are getting great practice and a lot of independence, and I am finally free to do the other 173 things a mother does all day!

It's a perfect size for young hands (four-year-old). It's not too big to carry when full of watered-down juice. It makes our lives easier, too--fill it once every few days and our boy can get his own drink. Would definitely buy again.
