Highly recommended by teachers for use at home. Children can serve themselves independently by twisting the plastic lid open to pour, then twisting it again to close. Easy-grasp handle and nearly dripless spout.Not recommended for hot liquids. Pitcher is dishwasher-safe. Lid is BPA-free polypropylene (plastic #5). Holds 16¾ ounces; 3¼"" base x 6"" high. Please note: The lid on this pitcher is designed so that it will turn easily--it does not seal the pitcher.

“Very well made, and durable. We puchased it as a gift for our daughters 4th birthday and it has been something she loves using. She feels very helpful at the table. There is a bit of leaking out of the lid if you fill the pitcher to the top, so we only go about 1/2 to 3/4 full. I think we could have given this to her at age 3, and she would have been delighted.”

“Having this pitcher out and available for my son to pour himself water whenever he is thirsty has been a small but important step towards increased independence. He LOVES that he doesn't even need to ask me for a drink and I love watching him do this all by himself.”

“My kids love this pitcher. My 2-1/2 yr old love to pour milk on her own cereal. Using this at meals keeps me in my chair instead of jumping up to fill glasses. I didn't give it 5 stars, because the pitcher doesn't seal. I worry about milk spoiling in it. Even in the refrigerator, I feel the need to empty and wash the pitcher every day.”

“Easy for my 4yr old twins to hold, carry and pour. Unless poured exactly straight out of the lip, the contents can pour messily. Even when poured perfectly straight, it always has drips running down the side. It's perfect in every way except the drips and rings that always need cleaned up.”
