Read For Small Hands Reviews

Highly recommended by teachers for use at home. Children can serve themselves independently by twisting the plastic lid open to pour, then twisting it again to close. Easy-grasp handle and nearly dripless spout. Not recommended for hot liquids. Pitcher is dishwasher-safe. Lid is BPA-free polypropylene (plastic #5). Holds 16¾ ounces; 3¼"" base x 6"" high. Please note: The lid on this pitcher is designed so that it will turn easily--it does not seal the pitcher.

I got four of these for my 3 year old daughter, so that she could practice pouring her own drinks. We keep them in a small refrigerator in our kitchen, so that she always has access. The pitcher is just the right size for little hands to handle. It also keeps just the right amount available, so that liquids stay fresh.

I use this product at any meal with my two girls ages, 3 and 6. It is well designed for small hands and allows them to self serve drinks as they need. It also provides a really nice opportunity for them to serve each other and feel good helping another.

I actually purchased 2 of these pitchers for grown up use; I no longer use plastic and needed a couple of glass pitchers smaller than 1/2 gal. size. A bit dribbly when pouring, but I love them!

Our daughter had this pitcher when she was about 4 years old and loved it: the autonomy of pouring her own juice was such a joy! Our son found it last year, he was just about 3, and loved it. We broke it... and ordered this one, which seems even better. The original (about 4 years ago) was a little bit to open, this one is not so tight, and made it possible for our son to do so himself. We love it!

My daughter started pouring work at her Montossori school and wanted to also pour her own drinks at home. Everything we had was very cumbersome and ended up with spills that frustrated both of us. This has been a great solution. I keep water, juice or milk in it and she happily pours for herself and her brother even when I am otherwise occupied and not able to help.
