Highly recommended by teachers for use at home. Children can serve themselves independently by twisting the plastic lid open to pour, then twisting it again to close. Easy-grasp handle and nearly dripless spout.Not recommended for hot liquids. Pitcher is dishwasher-safe. Lid is BPA-free polypropylene (plastic #5). Holds 16¾ ounces; 3¼"" base x 6"" high. Please note: The lid on this pitcher is designed so that it will turn easily--it does not seal the pitcher.

“I have 4 of these pitchers, we rotate them thru the dishwasher to keep milk and other beverages easily accessible on the lower shelf in the fridge. They are sturdy, the kids handle them easily. The only bad thing would be that the lids sometimes rotate a little and it makes pouring without spilling a little hard.”

“The pitcher is great - I keep milk or juice in this pitcher so that my 4 and 2 year old can serve their own drinks. The pitcher itself is very heavy duty and easy for them to hold and pour, but the lid fits a little too loosely for my comfort.”

“We use these pitchers so that each child can have some control over how much they would like to drink and when. We put them in the fridge so they can grab them when they want them and pour themselves (safely) a drink. The lid snaps on very snug and the pitcher is chip resistant and dishwasher safe--we love these!”

“We purchased two of these - one for milk and one for water, and keep them in the refrigerator at home. One ended up being donated to my children's school when theirs broke. The kids (ages 8,6, and 4) can all use it. I find that they don't think about twisting the lid to put the spout in place, so we generally leave it in the "open" position. The size is just right for the kids to carry and lift, but alas it only holds about three glasses' worth. When you have three thirsty kids, this leads to an empty pitcher on a regular basis. I haven't had much trouble with spills, though sometimes it leaks around the lid. Overall, I'm really glad we have it. The only alternatives I found were too large or made out of plastic.”

“love the glass, the size. hate that they leak. disappionted, but the kids use them anyway. just bring a cloth everytime you pour to wipe up the mess that leaks”

“I got this pitcher, along with the durable juice glasses, to help foster 'independence' in my then 5 year old. She loves it and loves pouring her own drinks. It is great for me too because we keep the pitcher on the table during meals and she can refill her drink all by herself. My 3 year old loves it too. It is just the right size for them.”

“This is the perfect size for my 4 and 2 1/2 year olds. They love the independence of pouring their own water. Yes the younger child often spills, but water is easy enough to clean up. I highly recommend this product to other parents, especially if you are constantly filling requests for a drink of water. I also bought the set of 6 glasses, and 2 of the enamel ware mugs for having outside on our picnic table. They both really enjoy having these.”

“I love this pitcher. It gives my son that extra independence when he's thirsty, and it's one less thing for me to do around the house. I loved it so much that I purchased another one for his juice. I just place them within reach in the refrigerator, and voila! Easy for him to reach!”
