Highly recommended by teachers for use at home. Children can serve themselves independently by twisting the plastic lid open to pour, then twisting it again to close. Easy-grasp handle and nearly dripless spout. Not recommended for hot liquids. Pitcher is dishwasher-safe. Lid is BPA-free polypropylene (plastic #5). Holds 16¾ ounces; 3¼"" base x 6"" high. Please note: The lid on this pitcher is designed so that it will turn easily--it does not seal the pitcher.

The kids love being able to pour their own milk on their breakfast cereal and it gives them greater independence which I love! I kind of wish we had two....

I am considering buying two more. My boys are able to pour their own drinks, building their confidence that they are a big boy. The small size is great for portion control and even when dropped minimal mess and no broken glass. The top locks a little thus it doesnt pop off when pouring. Easy to clean and perfect for any type of juice, water, or milk.

My 5-year old uses this pitcher to serve her own milk from the refrigerator without having to manage a heavy gallon jug. She received it for Christmas, and when she opened it she exclaimed, "it's what I've always wanted!" Proof that a gift does not have to be a toy to delight a child!

My 4-year-old daughter is very independent and has been very eager to try pouring her own milk but I've been reluctant until I found this pitcher. It's been amazing and she really loves having her own "milk pitcher" that she can get to, lift up and pour anytime she wants to! My only improvement would be for the lid to be a tighter seal.

We place two of these pitchers on the dinner table. Sometimes my 10 year old uses them to make different kinds of spa water adding cucumber to one and orange slices to the other. We also have this as a gift to Grandma and preschool cousins.
