Highly recommended by teachers for use at home. Children can serve themselves independently by twisting the plastic lid open to pour, then twisting it again to close. Easy-grasp handle and nearly dripless spout. Not recommended for hot liquids. Pitcher is dishwasher-safe. Lid is BPA-free polypropylene (plastic #5). Holds 16¾ ounces; 3¼"" base x 6"" high. Please note: The lid on this pitcher is designed so that it will turn easily--it does not seal the pitcher.

Got two of these, one for milk and one for orange juice. Now my 3 year old can make her own breakfast - cereal and a glass of juice all by herself! She is so proud of herself! Also highly recommend the durable glass tumblers-goes perfectly w this pitcher.

My son uses these pitchers at school, so to create a similar environment where he can continue his independence at home is great! So easy for him to use-we love it;)

My 6 year old and 2 1/2 year old both use this pitcher easily (filled half way for the little one because it gets somewhat heavy. It's a great tool for encouraging them to becoming more independent!

Gave this to my 7 year old for christmas. She rated in her top four presents. She calls it her independent pitcher and just loves using it.

I have this is full size and my grandson loves this one. It's perfect size for little hands and makes my grandson feel good to be able to make his own drink concoctions while we are in the kitchen.

My kids love this to pour their own drinks! It is light enough for my young children to use on their own and they absolutely love the independence it gives them.

I loved the idea of this mug. It should give children independence at the dinner table. HOWEVER, without water it is very heavy. With water, it's too heavy for my 3 year old to handle without my assistance...which contradicts the reason why I bought it in the first place. My 5 year old is okay with it- but I watch him. I think the design is flawed and should be made lighter. I am considering looking for another lighter one somewere else. I recommend it with reservations.

I bought this for my three-year-old so he could pour his own water and milk when he wanted it. Nice size and very user-friendly.
