Wooden Slide Whistle Classic wooden whistle Reviews

4.4 Rating 28 Reviews
Read For Small Hands Reviews

Whistles offer a classic introduction to the concept of manipulating airflow to change sound. Children move the slide in and out to produce the signature sliding ""whoop"" they love. We're pleased to report that the mellow tone of this solid wood slide whistle is decidedly more appealing than metal or plastic versions. 7½"" closed, opens to 11""; 1"" dia. Style may vary. Ages 3+.

Was disappointed in this product. The wood is rough unfinished and unpleasant for her to put in her mouth to blow on. It doesn't get used.

Not a clear tone but fairly indestructible, and a good range of notes for such a short instrument.

it took a few trials for my daughter to get the hang of it but once she did she loves it. Loves the different tones it produces as she moves the slide.

This is cute and works well. My boys ages 2 and 4 were not too interested in it. However, they find it fun to pull it out every once in a while. The two year old is still working on his slide whistle skills. They love to watch my use it. It always gets their attention.
