My 6-year-old son loves this. He is fascinated by the sounds it makes, and I think likes its size, appearance, the materials its made of and the way it feels. It seems to satisfy him in many ways. For the most part he is a boy who loves being active and playing sports, but he has had a lot of fun experimenting with "playing" music on it. I've also had fun with it!

This was bought as a gift for my 6 year old for Christmas. He LOVES it. I do too! It is very beautiful! Only one tiny concern that cannot be helped it the fragility of it. I know if my one year got ahold of it would be destroyed in a min. My oldest knows it is special to him so he makes sure he puts it on one of his higher shelves. Problem solved!
